Yesterday saw me off to Glasgow for my last wedding of the year and what a wedding to bow out on.

Jane & Brian celebrated their day with close family and friends in somewhere new for me, The Citizen. This place is swanky and if you're a whisky kind of drinker then you'll love it here.

December weddings can always be challenging, what with the complete lack of light and weather but damn am I happy. These two soldiered on through the rain and cold and let me capture some amazing portraits, showcasing the city centre and the Christmas displays of the city.

Guys, it was an absolute honour to have been part of your day. Hope you like your previews 🤘

Bristol, a city known for it's culture, food and a little known street artist by the name of Banksy. You have no idea how excited I was was Annapurna & Russ got in touch asking if I'd travel down to photograph their wedding. I think the answer was along the lines of f**k yeah I will.

They had their intimate wedding on Friday, choosing to celebrate the day with close family and I was along for the ride. Due to the complete lack of light this time of year, we did the couple shoot first then headed along to the ceremony. We also managed to sneak in a quick couple shoot after doing the group shots so I was one happy photographer.

Bristol is such an epic place, besides the Banksy's, there's a tonne of cool architecture and street art which we tried our best to make the most of and I think I can safely say we managed it.

Highlights, getting to see some Banksy street art in the flesh, a chilled couple who trusted me to do my thing and some epic levels of banter.

Guys, it was an absolute honour to have been part of your day. Hope you like your previews 🤘

Happy Halloween! A bit early but when you have a couple who love Halloween and use it as inspiration for their day then you just go with the flow. It's also my favourite holiday so deal with it.

Caitlin & Greg got married yesterday in an old church which was beautiful and with no religion in sight as these two don't really follow any organised religion. My first time visiting Lady Leng memorial chapel but hopefully I'll get to head back another time.

The reception was in the community hall in Crail, somewhere I've shot before and always happy to go back as it's a blank canvas kind of venue so it looks different every time you visit.

I had such a laugh, everyone was super welcoming and there was a tonne of banter which always makes me a happy photographer. If I'm having fun it shows in the photos, trust me.

In case you're wondering what the kids are doing? It's a scramble, something that used to happen at every wedding but seems to have died out pretty much everywhere besides Fife. Always happy to be corrected though.

Some epic tunes, I mean Korn on your wedding playlist is amazing, great food and a couple who were trusting enough to let me do my thing were my highlights. Also, big shout out to the wonderful Andrew Scott, if you're looking for a humanist then you should definitely check him out. Be warned, he takes more photos than me.

There ain't no party like an island party!

I was over in Islay last weekend for the amazing wedding of L&S (these guys wanted some privacy which I'm always happy to do).

What can I say? I love an island wedding, it's the complete juxtaposition of chilled but mental, slow but fast and also fun and a whole load more fun.

The champagne was flowing, the tunes were banging and the dancefloor, well I'll let you take a wee look for yourself to see how it went...

This was my second time visiting, having photographed L's big sisters wedding and I honestly can't wait to head back again, so if you know someone having an island wedding send them my way.

Something new I've been working on. Inspired by my love of street art and stickering, I've created my own. The game is simple, see a sticker, photograph it and send it to me and you'll receive a cheeky wee discount. All couples who have already booked will be receiving some alongside their photos and usb and I'm encouraging you to get on board also. Put the stickers wherever you like, photograph it and I'll choose a winner for the best location every few months. Remember stickering and street art in general is transient so they may be there today but gone tomorrow. Good luck. Dave 🤘
