Yesterday saw me off over the bridge to the rather nice wee town of Linlithgow for Caitlin & Peter's wedding.

Let's start by saying how much I loved these guys and their bridal party! I had such a laugh and was made to feel like part of the group, making things super relaxed and my job infinitely easier.

These two high school sweethearts ( I was shocked too!) had such an amazing day, filled with a lot of laughs, just look at some of the previews, some epic food and an all round chilled vibe.

Speaking of the food, the Italian munchies we received were absolutely incredible and I'd happily recommend the caterers to anyone.

There was some banging tunes and a ceilidh set, any band playing Queen, Bowie & Fleetwood Mac are alright in my book. Another highlight for me was the beautiful paintings in the art gallery which gave me some much needed colour and something quirky to use.

Guys, it was an absolute honour to have been part of your day, thank you for having me along for the ride 🤘

Ready for some elopement action?

Yesterday saw me up North bear Invergarry for Bex & Chris's epic elopement. They were joined by their dog Molly and a few select friends to witness the moment and share in some food and drinks afterwards.

I think we saw all four seasons in the one day, from torrential rain and bitter cold winds to bright skies and sun, but these guys just got on with it and made the day theirs.

Shout out to some incredible vegetarian cooking by one of their friends, it would put a lot of restaurants to shame.

Guys, it was an absolute honour to have been included in your day, thanks for having me along 🤘

What a freaking day we had yesterday!

I thought I was going to melt, as well as most of the guests and the beautiful brides, Carla & Katie for their wedding at Dalduff farm. It's only my second time there (so please book as I'd love to go back) and in complete contrast to the last time, the sun was out in all it's glory and boy does it look good in the sun.

These two were super laid back, most of my couple are to be honest, but nothing fazed them, even when one of the wedding rings went missing it didn't matter (and luckily found not too long later).

We all celebrated in the sun, listening to some epic tunes by the talented Maria and generally just enjoying the glorious West coast weather. Some heartfelt and funny speeches were spoken and when it came down to the ceilidh, the dancefloor was absolutely jumping which I always love to see.

Ladies, it was an absolute honour to have been part of your day, thanks for having me along 🤘

Third and final pre wedding shoot for the week and this time it was Caitlin & Peter's turn.

I challenged myself to using one camera with a fixed 35mm lens and damn am I happy with the results! These two were such a laugh and even though it was miserable wether it didn't stop us from enjoying the shoot.

Looking forward to heading back to Linlithgow for their upcoming nuptials, especially if I get reactions and emotions like these ones 🤘

Second pre wedding shoot and this time featuring Bex & Chris who travelled up to the Fife coast to meet me. We decided to head to shell bay, one of my favourite places along the coast and somewhere we spent a lot of time during the Covid era.

You know me, I have to get some 'quirky my style' photos even though the view was incredible so settled on the WW2 bunkers at the top of the hill which looked amazing.

I had such a laugh and can't wait for their epic elopement next month 🤘

Three pre wedding shoots this week so it's been a busy one!

First off we have Caitlin & Greg who I met up with on Sunday at the rather nice Pittenweem. The sun was shining, we had some coffee and a great bacon, brie and cranberry roll then headed off out to explore and get some epic photos.

These guys were great to work with and being two metalheads I was over the moon to stumble across the witch mural.

Looking forward to their upcoming nuptials in a few months, it's going to be epic 🤘

"Up above my head, I hear music in the air, That makes me know, There's a party somewhere."

Some disco lyrics from The Trammps but ones I feel fitted Jordan & Kevins epic and disco themed wedding at the incredible Rossi On The Earn yesterday. It was my first visit and I'm hoping I'm welcomed back as damn this place is nice.

The reason it looked so damn good was due to the creative genius of Jordan, and with many long hours and friends chipping in, they made their colourful explosion of a celebration a reality.

I love colour, so you can imagine how happy I was when I rocked up in the morning.

Also, the party atmosphere was absolutely banging from the get go which just makes my life so much easier as there's a tonne to photograph.

Highlights include some amazing margaritas and bao buns, some killer tunes and just how cool this wedding was, I was seriously impressed.

A wedding so Metal that the hand-fasting material was forged in flames 🤘

That pretty much sums up Skye & Jordan's wedding at the beautiful Oran Mor on Thursday thanks to a wee fire incident with a tea light candle and the newly knotted material. Makes for an epic story though!

I freaking loved these guys, from the minute they booked, I knew it was going to rock and it did and then some. Rock was a key component to the day including listening to Rammstein, Korn, Slipknot and some other classics during prep to Skye walking down the aisle with her dad and step dad to Rammstein's Heirate Mich. Add in, some Doc Martens, an epic black wedding dress and some killer tunes in the evening and I was one happy photographer.

Other highlights include some damn tasty food, some top level banter at prep and just having a couple that trust me to do my thing and create some freaking awesome photos like these.

Guys, it was an absolute honour to have been part of your day. Hope you love your previews 🤘

Just two middle aged mad yin's getting married.

That line was quoted when I met up with Diane & Laura for their pre wedding shoot and I knew it would make a great tagline for their wedding photos. If you're a fan of football you may recognise these two from Glasgow City Football club, and if not, head down for a match as the atmosphere is super fun and definitely family friendly.

These two got married earlier in the week at Citation, Glasgow and had along a whole load of family and friends for the party. I was their on my mini day elopement package but damn, did I have a ball.

It makes my life so much easier when couples smile without me having to use some of my (terrible) jokes. When you also have a couple suggesting to head into a restaurant as they knew I'd love the artwork inside, well it just made my day and then some.

Also, finding some graffiti on the wall that both my wife and I have tattooed on us was a great wee find and had to make the cut.

When I heard the line, "this could be anywhere in the world" at Fridays wedding in the Engine works, I knew there was another reason that Lauren, Cammy and I got on so well. (It's a song by Alexisonfire for those who don't have any knowledge of decent music).

These two had the weather gods on their side with a rather warm and dry day, just what you need when heading into the Botanical gardens but they made it work and damn was it a fun shoot.

The party atmosphere was cranking up early, with guests singing and dancing to the afternoon entertainment so I knew it was going to be wild later on in the evening. It didn't disappoint.

Highlights include hearing some hilarious stories during the ceremony, some top level banter all freaking day and some epic dance moves, look at the angle on the 'worm' photo later in the gallery.

Pleasure working alongside Niki, Scott and Olesja.

City centre weddings, industrial venues and an epic party. The reason I love my job #473 and a perfect tagline for Sarah & Marcus' wedding at the amazing Biscuit Factory. (I'm also a recommended supplier for there and there's a cheeky wee discount for bookings, just saying).

These guys know how to throw a party that's for sure. Having made sure a small percentage of Ireland was there it made me one happy photographer capturing the dance floor action.

Smily couples make my life that wee bit easier and as can be seen from the previews, I don't think Sarah stopped smiling all day.

Stand outs include some next level banter (or craic) as I was told, some great food and having Harry Styles rock up for an impromptu set with the band.

Where do I start with this one? Last week saw me off on a road trip to Drimnin for Kelly & Jeremy's Scottish elopement. After 4 hours, a ferry trip and several loads of animals on the road I finally made my way to the coolest Airbnb I've ever seen.

These guys are nomads, having stayed and worked in more countries than most people will ever dream of, they settled on Scotland for their American & Canadian wedding. Almost all of it was done online, with family and friends joining in on a Skype call and what followed was one of the most emotional weddings I've photographed.

We took a wee wander around the grounds then down to the water where the Sun gods decided to bless us with the most incredible light, fitting for such a beautiful day.

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with Blakely & Hunter who were visiting Scotland on a business trip before their Scottish wedding next year. Since they're getting married in a 'middle of nowhere' venue we decided to do a wee shoot in the West end of Glasgow.

These two were naturals from the start and the Scottish economy can thank me for recommending square sausage, haggis and irn bru to yet another couple from the States.

Something new I've been working on. Inspired by my love of street art and stickering, I've created my own. The game is simple, see a sticker, photograph it and send it to me and you'll receive a cheeky wee discount. All couples who have already booked will be receiving some alongside their photos and usb and I'm encouraging you to get on board also. Put the stickers wherever you like, photograph it and I'll choose a winner for the best location every few months.
