- We’ve been made aware that some members of our local community have recently received a letter from an online-based direct cremation provider (the one you’ve likely seen advertised on TV).

As we step into the New Year, let’s make it our shared resolution to show more kindness and compassion, especially during life’s most difficult moments.

If you see a , could you pause for a moment? Perhaps stand as it passes, remove your cap, or bow your head. It’s a simple gesture that revives an old tradition of paying respect and shows grieving families that their loss is noticed and shared by us all.

It would also mean so much if you could allow some of the following cars - often close family members - to exit a junction behind the hearse. It might add just a moment to your journey but creates a lasting impact for families experiencing unimaginable sadness.

YMCA North Tyneside is a that has been dedicated to strengthening people in our local community since 1879

Becoming a charity trustee is a unique and often overlooked way to volunteer your time for a good cause. Here’s what I love about being a trustee:

We are delighted to support Revd. Lee’s Christmas Selection Box Appeal at St John's Church Percy Main. Funeral Directors Sam Elliott and Matthew Streater recently visited Revd. Lee to deliver a cheque and find out more about the church's initiative.

Sam helped us through from the start, answering all our many questions and guiding us through the stages of planning with great empathy and professionalism, we couldn't have had a better person to help us, he also recommended the celebrant who was so kind and caring and did an amazing job at the service.
