A busy morning in the flower shed today, making up lots of lovely bits and bobs for the weekends flower and plant stall.
I have British grown bunches again (these are a mixture of my own cut flowers and Lincolnshire grown), flower bottles and some cute little sempervivum planters! A lovely mixture of annuals all now at ÂŁ1 each and perennials at ÂŁ3 each.

I have some new little annuals making their way onto the plant stall this weekend. I have amaranthus (velvet curtains) and amaranthus (hot biscuit)!
These are really unusual flowers with great foliage colour. Adds great interest to a border or flower patch. If you nip the tops out a couple of weeks into planting they will give you an abundance of flowers which are great as a cut flower!
Iâll also have some lovely fresh cut flower bunches and a mixture of perennials that are perfect to plant now for summer flowers.
I just loooovvvveeee all the bright colours in this wedding. Brights are definitely my favourite.

Had a really fun and busy day prepping my little studio for its opening tomorrow. Thereâs a lovely variety of houseplants including ferns, African violets, succulents and fittonias. I also have some beautiful Lincolnshire grown peonies, hydrangea, snapdragons and stocks, alongside my own grown cut flowers too. Lots of annuals still left. All only 50p each now!! WellâŚ..we had rain âď¸ last weekend and wind đ¨ for this one! You never quite know what your gonna get do you!đ My poor little flowers and plants have taken a little bit of a battering the last few days. However, theyâre still looking pretty sparky and ready to go to new homes. Iâm pretty much out of perennials now..just a few Alchemilla mollis left. Iâve lots of lovely annual still though..all just ÂŁ1 each. All great to use for flower cutting or filling out a border. Donât forget to check out my upcoming flower workshops too! Flippin heck!âŚIâm outta breath now I can tell ya! Iâm still trying to master this social media lark..đ But just wanted to give you a little tour of my flower beds and show you how much you can grow in a limited space. I have 5 raised beds in total. Iâve got about half of them as annuals and half as perennials. I only started growing just over a year ago so some plants will take a little while to bulk up but the astrantia and achillea have been in a couple of years and so you can see the difference that time makes. I didnât sow any annuals over the winter but Iâm going to give it a try next year in the hope that theyâll get a better head start. But the annuals that I did sow in early spring have all done well. Slugs seem to have been a big problemâŚI think as itâs been so wet and we havenât had a good cold spell to kill them off. Theyâve been loving my delphiniums and my amaranthus!! I have sprinkled some chilli flakes around the base of them which does seem to be deterring them..fingers crossed. Iâm really pleased with it so far..and really looking forward to see all the annuals bulk up and flower. I hope you enjoyed my tour!! :D Happy Tuesday Charlene x
