Bone, Bird & BBQ is a family-owned and family-operated takeaway business specialising in casual American and South African food.

We currently seek responsible, reliable, friendly, sociable, helpful, and hard-working delivery drivers to help make Bone, Bird & BBQ a local success.

Bone, Bird & BBQ Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities:

- Delivers food to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner within a 3-4 mile radius from North Weald, Essex (CM16).
- Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers. Friendliness is essential!
- Reviews and verifies order requests to ensure accuracy.
- Keeps their car clean and hygienic at all times. The vehicle must be in a maintainted and safe condition.
- Contacts customers to confirm delivery details.
- Two weeks notice required before resignation.

What you'll need:

- A car with licence and driver insurance
- Smartphone (or Sat Nav) for map and directions
- Excellent time management skills - you'll need to manage multiple drops in a day, and customers want their food delivered as fast as possible.
- Proof of your right to work self-employed in the UK
- Age 18+

Work Hours & Benefits:

- Fridays and Saturdays 6:00PM to 8:30PM (Thursdays & Sundays are available to those wanting to earn extra money. Just let us know beforehand which days you want to work.)
- £12 to £13.50 per hour based on experience (paid cash every two weeks)
- A free meal of your choice from our menu given per shift.

Delivery Driver Qualifications / Skills:

- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Friendly demeanour - treat our customers like you would treat your friends & family.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record

COVID-19 Considerations:

- All drivers must remain Covid-19 safe (maintain social distance, wash hands and keep disinfectant in car, keep delivery bags sealed).
- Deliveries can be made by simply leaving the order in front of the customer's door. No unnecessary human contact/COVID risk is required.

Delivering with Bone, Bird & BBQ is a great part-time gig and is a good way to earn extra money.
