Job Title: Events Planning/Balloon Artist Assistant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Events Planning/Balloon Artist Assistant.
This is a part-time position that primarily requires availability on weekends, with occasional weekday assignments.
The successful candidate will assist our events planning team and support our balloon artists in delivering exceptional experiences to our clients.
While prior balloon experience is preferred, we are willing to train a motivated candidate who is eager to learn and has a genuine interest in the field.
** A valid driving license and confidence in driving a van are essential for this role **
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the events planning team with organizing and executing various events, including parties, weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions.
• Work closely with balloon artists to prepare and set up balloon decorations, displays, and installations.
• Assist with loading and unloading balloons, equipment, and supplies, ensuring everything is handled safely and efficiently.
• Transport equipment, materials, and team members to event venues in a company van.
• Help with the assembly and disassembly of event setups, including inflating, tying, and arranging balloons.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with event attendees and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Continuously expand knowledge of balloon artistry techniques and trends through training sessions and independent research.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Possession of a valid driving license is essential.
• Confident and comfortable driving a van to transport equipment and team members to event venues.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of displays.
