“Whereas I can normal only teach around 8 people and sometimes quite uncomfortably in Wilder HQ at Juice, I was able to create with 20 others with space for even more if required. It also works as the perfect back drop to take images of people’s creations and designs. This is now my go to space” ✨

We are offering Juice for workshop space hire at a introductory price for the rest of the year to allow you to get a feel for the space and unlock its full potential 🔓

A LIL ABOUT PRICING 💸

Here at Wilder I’ve always prided myself on giving you the best flower for your buck. I have always kept my mark up the same because I believe and want everyone to appreciate something much more special than supermarket flowers on a daily basis. So let’s be open & explain exactly what this means…

💸 Floral pricing changes everyday! We don’t have set prices for each item and we can’t guarantee how many stems you’ll get in your bouquets day to day. Here at Wilder HQ on average we receive a FRESH DELIVERY 3 TIMES A WEEK - we do this so you get longer lasting florals and you can always get something new. This means our prices change throughout the week. An Alstromeria stem may cost you £1.90 on a Tuesday but £2.20 on a Saturday if the auction prices changed.

💸 The reason we have NO MINIMUM SPEND for weddings is because we have the shop to sell over ordering - as much as you only want 10 stems of Dahlia Cafe au Lait - we might only be able to order 60 minimum. Be kind to your florists working from home!

💸 Different times of year affect flower prices GLOBALLY. So this means if it’s Mother’s Day in Europe, our prices go up due to the high demand across the world from the growers.

💸 We can’t charge the same for a pick me up bunch as a wedding bouquet and that’s NOT BECAUSE WE SEE GREEN WHEN YOU SAY WEDDING. Wedding florals take so much more density when it comes to stem usage, we order more bespoke florals, a shop grade rose may cost us £2.40 a stem but a wedding garden rose could cost 3x that and my gosh, they take far more time to create - mix that with the forever pressure to make it perfect for your day & it just doesn’t add up the same.

💸 We are NOT A SUPERMARKET. I am not a huge corporation with billions of pounds, I am in fact a small business that started with £300 and a dream. I don’t order a hundred thousand roses every week to get the fabulous discounts our tax dodging, planet destroying “friends” do *shhhh*. Supporting small does so much more than you know.

our Becca - your new chief to go girlie 🥹

whilst I step away for a little while this is the familiar face you’ll be greeted with 3/5 days a week in Wilder as well as creating your event florals and teaching your autumn workshops. Becca has been with us for going on 2 years now, I couldn’t ask for a better team member and friend to pass the creativity of Wilder onto whilst I figure out mumhood. Becca’s floristry is Wilder through and through, I’m so proud to have seen your skills develop everyday and to share this journey with you 🌱

Overall the shop will run as always so no major changes to ordering or how to book events/weddings or sympathy flowers - all of this will be handled in the same way. To begin with you may see that we might change some opening hours week to week whilst it’s still the summer holidays and Becca has her own 2 lil lads to spend time with but come September - business as usual as possible.

Please be patient with us when it comes to response times to messages and emails & please do order online where you can as it’s just the quickest and easiest way for us to manage your orders - especially for next day collections and deliveries. Becca has full access to our online orders and will see them come through in minutes. I may not be able to reply your email or DM for a day or so ✌🏻

I will be releasing our Autumn Dried Wreath workshops for September/October very very soon so don’t miss out on those, as well as being super organised for life and releasing our Christmas workshop dates for booking with a £10 deposit fee pp - you know how quickly these book up so don’t miss out! We will also be announcing our larger collaboration workshops at some really awesome locations this year 🌲

Sorry for the silence whilst my pregnant self battled that heat and the aftermath of weddings last week, pretty sure my brain just gave up. However we are re-engaging for this weeks wedding and restocking 📦

Just wanted to let you all know we are in the shop all week this week before closing our doors from Sunday 11th August - Tuesday 20th August whilst the team take a break. On returning you’ll be in our Becca’s hands whilst me and baby up! Look out for tomorrow’s post explaining everything about the next few months whilst I take a step back - the smallest of changes to keep everything flowing 🌊

This 2m wide beauty really came through for me 🌿🥹

I now believe every marquee and tent should have a giant hoop pride of place. For F&D’s wedding I decided to base her in Asparagus Fern and Leather Leaf Fern, not only to give all the countryside textures but to withstand whatever heat came her way - once loaded I added hints of colour throughout to draw the eye from the tables and I must say I fell in love. I’m not sure would agree after pulling her up into the air after I packed on all weight of the chicken wire and flower - love you 💪🏼

Fiona’s bouquet on Wednesday absolutely made me fall back in love with purple using a mixture of florals including Mentha Rose from , Cotinus, Big Sun Stracciatella Lavender & Mentha all nestling together next to a smaller version for her daughter Ella

Hi it’s me, Charlotte 🍃

I figured it’s a about time I reintroduced myself before I head off for a little while to start my new adventure at the beginning of September and let you know how Wilder will operate over the next few months 👶🏼

I started Wilder in February 2020, taking some time off from floristry after training in 2012 to travel and dabble in many other small roles that never seemed to quite fit. Looking back now I’m not sure how I ever thought I could possibly do anything else - floral art truly is my life source 🌾

In the last 4 1/2 years Wilder has exceeded any expectations I had of where I could be with her, we’ve won awards with .northants.leics.rutland , created floral designs for , created dream flowers for over 200 weddings, spread our knowledge at nearly 100 workshops and created a team I adore. Her bricks and mortar truly are my first born and leaving her even for a week will be the strangest thing for me…

But becoming a mum to a tiny being is my next adventure and so I will be handing the reigns over as hard as my brain is finding the idea of it! So although it makes me teary, I have nothing to worry about - my girls have got you ✨

The shop will be open and functioning as normal with Becca creating your beautiful blooms. There may be the odd day we are closed or things differ but just keep an eye on our socials for updates. All wedding enquires will be taken via email or in the shop and then passed to myself so sorry for a delay in my response. I will still be here in the background keeping you all updated and I can’t promise I won’t throw in some baby spam from time to time ✌🏻

This sounds like a catch ya later, it’s not & even with 6 weeks to go - I have 3 weddings to design yet; 2 large weddings on this week so there is no stopping for me just yet! I’ve also added my “The Last Workshop” to the website for the 3rd August so if you’d like to come and create florals with me one last time before I become an “outside mom” check it out 🌱

Let’s talk about the WILDER X JUICE workshop last weekend 🧃

We honestly could not have had a more beautiful Sunday in a more artistic setting. A day of foam free flower arranging; learning the basics of flower conditioning, foam substitutes, rose reflexing and floral placement 🌷

A huge thank you to everyone for booking, coming along to make my week and be our testers for this new space as a workshop location, my gorgeous team and / for letting us take over your space 🥹

NEW WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT 📯

As prepares to open up this new space to workshops throughout the year we wanted to throw a little fun event that means we can get some images for social media and do a workshop we’ve wanted to do for some time now - all at a promotional half price for you! Pretty juicy if you ask us 🧃

20 spaces available to come along, learn how to condition your fresh florals, design your own bouquet using seasonal florals picked by our team (in the middle of peony season might we add) and arrange into a vase. Take these skills home with you to make sure your flowers are always the longest lasting perfectly arranged 🌱

Workshop time approx. 2 hours. Refreshments served. Must be comfortable with photos being taken and used for our social media. All materials supplied. Please bring your own scissors. Please pick either with or without vase to take home - vases supplied for you to arrange in.
