This quote has resonated with myself for the past year.

I went from feeling completely lost and broken to finding what I am meant to be doing… floristry.

So in essence, I added flowers into my life when I doubted myself and voila!

I know flowers don’f fix problems, but most of the time they help.

✨️Fancy something a little different?✨️

I have now officially started creating and selling wired wearable pieces using fresh or dried flowers!

You may have seen my other recent post where I designed and made a wired floral broach - a perfect alternative to a button hole or corsage for a special event or wedding.

This time I went bigger!

I used the same elements from the broach and used it within this neck piece.

Creating detailed, delicate, wearable pieces has been so much fun. It's been exciting to have the freedom to explore techniques and letting my imagination run free whilst creating designs.

Something a little different from this week.

I was tasked to experiment and create a wired, glued floral badge and honestly... I love it!

Wired, glued and delicate pieces are my favourite to create. It's so much fun to experiment with shape, materials and techniques.

These floral wired badges would be perfect to wear at a wedding, whether it's for the wedding party (as an alternative to a traditional buttonhole or corsage) or to wear for a special event.

✨️From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for all the support for Ups A Daisy yesterday at Milton Ernest Hall Care Home✨️
It was the most wonderful experience as a first time stall. Still feels like a dream.
Creating Ups A Daisy a few years back and seeing it evolve, I would never have dreamt it would look like this today.
Taking it public yesterday was so out of my comfort zone and it came with a lot of hard, intense work but my goodness it was an incredible feeling when the general public loved my work and purchased some goodies. It's an incredible high!
I cannot wait to see where Ups A Daisy takes me in 2025!

Something a little different today.

Had the lovely challenge to create a hostess bouquet using Anthuriums. Although at first I was very dubious as they aren't my favourite flower, I'm really happy with how they look in this design with the Lilium! May have to continue to experiment with them 🤔
