No appointment is needed, just drop in to explore the venue and chat with our friendly team. However, to help us plan the morning, we’d appreciate it if you could send us a quick message (or email) to let us know you're coming.

At Brampton Grange, we’ve always been pretty low-key when it comes to awards. If we are being honest there are so many out there you can just apply for (often with a hefty fee attached), and it can feel like you’re buying the recognition. That’s not our style.

But THIS award? This one is different. It’s based entirely on reviews from our amazing couples, the ones who’ve celebrated their love, said their vows, and made unforgettable memories right here at Brampton Grange. 🥂💍

It means the absolute world to us because it’s a reflection of the hardwork and care that we put into every wedding. To know that our couples felt it and took the time to share their experiences... well, it’s just the best feeling ever.

Is a Toastmaster the Only Option for Your Wedding?

Yesterday, we chatted about whether a toastmaster is essential for your big day. While having a toastmaster can add a touch of elegance and structure, there are other options worth exploring!

For instance, have you considered asking your DJ if they offer an all-day package? Many DJs provide a simple upgrade to cover your ceremony music, drinks reception, and key announcements throughout the day. Since they’re already booked for your evening celebrations, it’s an easy and cost-effective solution to keep the day flowing seamlessly.

One option we’ve seen in action many times is the fantastic Potter Group. Their professional approach to announcing you into the room as the new “Mr. & Mrs” (or your chosen titles!) truly elevates the moment. There’s no comparison between a professional’s confident delivery and someone less comfortable with public speaking.

Do I Need a Toastmaster at My Wedding?

This is a question we hear often, so let’s give you an honest answer! While a toastmaster can be a wonderful addition to your day, they’re not always essential. (Apologies in advance to the toastmasters reading this, we promise we mean no offense, just sharing our perspective! ❤️)

A toastmaster’s role is incredibly varied. They can:
✨ Ensure speakers are prepared and have their scripts.
✨ Look after guests and guide them to where they need to be.
✨ Announce toasts and add a touch of theatre and fun to your day.
And so much more.....

That said, at Brampton Grange, we have a dedicated on-the-day coordinator who takes care of many of these responsibilities for you, helping to keep everything running smoothly and on time. While we don’t make formal announcements, someone from your wedding party, often the best man is usually happy to introduce speeches and keep the momentum going.

So, whether or not you choose to have a toastmaster, rest assured we’ll do everything we can to ensure your day is stress-free and full of joy! 🥂

So, you’ve planned most of your big day, but here’s the thing....you can’t decide between a DJ or a band for your evening entertainment. Which one should you go for, and why?

From years of experience hosting incredible weddings, we can tell you that most bands usually play either 3 x 30-minute sets or 2 x 45-minute sets. While those moments are always electric, it’s not a lot of time when you’re planning an evening that runs well into the night!

A DJ, on the other hand, can keep the energy flowing all night, warming up your guests with dancefloor fillers and keeping the party alive from start to finish.

So, which is best?
Hand on heart, we recommend having both! Start with your DJ to set the vibe and get everyone in the party mood. Then, switch to the band once your guests are warmed up and showing off their best moves. After the band’s first set, it’s the perfect moment to serve your evening food, with the DJ playing some great background tunes while everyone refuels.

Finally, finish the night in style: let the band’s final set bring the energy, and hand it back to the DJ to keep the dancefloor buzzing until the very end. After that? Collapse into bed, knowing your celebration was unforgettable!

Want to include your furry friend on your wedding day? At Brampton Grange, we love dogs and enjoy having them celebrate with you. Over the years, we've had many dogs attend, some even with special roles like ring bearers!

So yes, your dog is definitely welcome! We'll make sure there's a bowl of water for your four-legged friend and your canine companion can even stay overnight in our cottages.

It's also worth knowing there are lots of a dog chaperone companies that offer a wedding day service to ease any stress.

The "Dip Kiss" is a dramatic and romantic pose often seen in wedding photography or cinematic moments and it's going to be huge in 2025! It involves one partner (typically the groom) holding the other (usually the bride) while gently dipping them backward into a graceful, almost sweeping motion.

Bliss Vocals tied the knot here around 18 months ago and the moment was perfectly captured on camera. Can we show some love foe this stunning image please.

Let’s be honest, when someone says “corkage,” most of us have no idea what it actually means and reach for Google faster than a glass of Prosecco. But at Brampton Grange, you can relax. Why? Because we don’t charge for it. That’s right, no corkage fees.

Want to bring your own drinks for your wedding day? Go for it! Fancy Champagne? Yes, please. Your dad’s questionable homebrew? If that’s your vibe, we won’t judge. Cocktails....why not! Just drop everything off the day before, and we’ll take care of the rest, chilling, pouring, and making it look effortless.

And from 6 PM onwards, we’ve got your back with our fully stocked bar to keep the party going. After all, every great celebration deserves great drinks (and no one running out of them). 🍹

Enquired....what next?

So, you’ve sent an enquiry to what could be your dream venue (and maybe a few others - totally normal). Don’t worry, we get it. And honestly? We’re thrilled you’re playing the field. After all, how else are you supposed to figure out which venue will host your epic wedding and look amazing on Instagram?

Research is key! Picking the perfect wedding venue takes research, and the only way to know you’ve found “the one” is by gathering all the info and weighing up your options.

Now every venue handles enquiries a little differently:
• Some will call you back immediately, full of enthusiasm.
• Others might let you know about a limited-time offer that feels a little too well-timed.

Here at Brampton Grange, we like to keep things simple and stress-free. If you've enquired by email, first, we’ll send you an email back with all the information you’ve requested, (no smoke and mirrors, just facts). Then, if we haven’t heard back from you within 3-5 days, we’ll give you a quick call to check that you received the email (and to remind you to check your spam folder in case it's gone astray).

When we call, we promise not to take up too much of your time. We understand you’re busy, whether that’s at work or secretly planning your wedding while at work ;-) The call will only take a minute or two, just to make sure you’ve got what you need. If you’d rather we didn’t call, that’s no problem at all, just let us know or share the best time to reach you. You can also message us via whats app.
