Weekends with my girl/mini entertainer in training... AKA Jolly Jasmine! ๐
Such a sweetie, and I love bringing her with me to help entertain at your events!
Mornings are fun ๐ซ ๐
Anyone relate? ๐คฃ what do your kids whine about?
I cry a lot, and sometimes I'm productive ๐ I must admit that juggling motherhood, running a business, working, and studying is a LOT.
Productivity is definitely something I struggle with, and my head often feels messy and full. I never really feel fully present, as hard as I try!
I do plan out my week on a Sunday and use the 54321 hack when I know I need to stop procrastinating and do something. Count 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and then physically move.
What are your top tips for being productive when spinning so many plates!? โจ๏ธ

Some top tips for throwing a party on a BUDGET! ๐ฐ
We all know that parties can be expensive, but there are ways to cut the cost and still gift your child an amazing experience:
๐ฅณ Host a joint party & halve the cost
๐ฅณ Give cake to send them home rather than a party bag/gift to take away
๐ฅณ Give the kids a quick snack rather than a full meal
๐ฅณ Have a shorter party - I host 1hr as well as 2hr parties
๐ฅณ A shop bought/homemade cake is much cheaper
๐ฅณ Minimal decorations - no need to go overboard on these
๐ฅณ Host the party at home if you can

Imagine this...
You're a child, and you walk into a big room full of people. You know a few, but not everyone. It's loud and unusual, and you feel uneasy and a little nervous.
Your parent has made the effort to bring you here and is trying to encourage you to join in, but it's all too scary, so you cuddle into them for some comfort.
They get cross with you because they've given up their plans to bring you here, and you're refusing to join in. They threaten to take you home, and you get upset because it's all too overwhelming, but you don't want to leave!
You just need some time and comfort to feel safe, and then you'll be ready to go.
๐ญ
This is something entertainers see all too often. Yes, it's really frustrating as a parent (trust me, I know!) because the last thing you want to do over the weekend is sit through another kids party!
However, if your child feels nervous and unsafe, all they need is a little comfort with their safe person, and after some time, they'll be ready to join in.
This could take 10 minutes, 1 hour, or several parties until they feel confident enough.
It's actually a positive that they are aware of their surroundings and are able to keep themselves safe in uncertain situations ๐ ๐
I upgraded my prize box over a year ago now to get rid of the plastic crap that no one wants!
Not only is it much better for the planet ๐ but your children get much better (and less noisy ๐ฏ) prizes to take home!

A typical day of juggling looks like this:
๐งGetting the kids up, ready, and to school.
๐๏ธโโ๏ธ Some days a quick gym trip
๐งนA quick tidy (otherwise I can't focus)
๐ Study tasks such as reading, researching, writing assignments etc
๐ Lunch break
๐ง Admin tasks & booking in parties
๐ฒ Picking the kids up and taking them to their clubs, making dinner, then bath and bed time!
Evenings are spent preparing lunches and uniforms, cleaning up, and not much relaxing time before I knock out ๐ด๐
Today, I swapped my study time (as I'm a little ahead) for a haircut! I went for the chop!!! โ๏ธ
Which would you choose? ๐ค
If you're after the full disco experience, then choosing a venue that can block out all natural light is a MUST!
This video includes 2 different community centres, both in daylight (in fact, the first hall in the video was a party much later in the day than the second!). Both had all possible blinds/curtains closed, and yet the disco looked so different in each room!
Is this something that you'd think about when booking your venue?
Are you a parent/carer/PTA member/nursery staff based in or around Northamptonshire or Milton Keynes and are looking for a disco party for your child?
Drop me a message for more info!! ๐ฅณ
What are your thoughts? I hear so many times that there's no point having a party for a 1, 2, 3, 4 year old etc, as they'll never remember it...
They won't, but they will feel special and that's important, too โจ๏ธ
Did you have a party for your little ones at this age? Or do you plan to?
๐ Do you live in Northamptonshire/Milton Keynes?
๐ Are you a parent/carer to young children?
๐ Do you work in a nursery?
๐ Are you part of the PTA?
If so, and you're looking to celebrate any occasion... I can help!! ๐ฅณ

My little party biz is 7!!! ๐ฅณ
Each year is a year of growth, and I truly can't believe how lucky I am to be able to do what I love for a living โค๏ธ
My business is bursting at the seams, and I plan to expand very soon!
Once again, a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has made this possible, supported, shared, booked, recommended, re-booked, written reviews, shared photos and videos, the list goes on....
You guys are amazing, and I am so so grateful ๐ ๐ฅฒ โค
Here's to year 7 ๐ฅ ๐
โจ๏ธ 2022 Highlights - and that's exactly what they are. My life isn't perfect, our family isn't flawless, and there have been tough times. But here are my best bits from this year.
However your year has been, I hope you can find the best bits and be thankful for those. I hope 2023 is full of health, happiness and positivity for all of you โค
Happy new year! ๐พ ๐ฅ ๐
We all like to share beautiful photos, right??
But does your child REALLY want a grey/white/beige birthday party, or are you organising it so that the photos look good for Instagram?
I'm not saying you shouldn't decorate nicely, of course if you wish to, then that's great! Although I can guarantee that your child will be more invested in WHAT'S happening, rather than how it all LOOKS...
Think of what your child would like as opposed to how it's going to look to the outside world and how many likes you'll get on your post.
Do you agree? Or do you prefer to have a picture perfect post? โฌ๏ธ
Wow oh wow, what a weekend! It's safe to say that I'm all partied out and 8 hours of Christmas music has taken it's toll ๐
But I've honestly had the BEST time and I wanted to thank Footsteps Daycare 2018 Ltd, Brafield WMC, Saints Sports and Social Club and Roade Football Club for having me host your Christmas events this year!
I hope your children have all had a great time! ๐ฅณ ๐๐๐
*I didn't manage to get any videos/photos today as it was all go go go. If you have any that you're happy to share please feel free to pop them in the comments ๐
If only setting up the disco was this easy! ๐
