Unfortunately Stephen and Matthew have had to pull out of the gig BUT DONT FEAR!! Phil from Philly has stepped up to the plate and will be soothing our souls with some stripped back acoustic grunge - carrying themes of burnt rice and hoovers.

This time we'll be showcasing the musical prowess of Big Canvas, Stephen Sheridan, Greg Dixon, Matthew Awbury and Gosia Witkowska.

AND it's only just gone and got better! I'm super happy to announce that Pray for Mojo, also known (and feared) by their street name "The Wazza Warriors", are jumping on the bill to add more fuzz to the preexisting fuzz.
Alongside them Captain Wizzo, AKA JD, AKA that dead nice guy from Rare Vitamin Records, AKA 'The Boss' will be spinning some tunes on the old 1s and 2s.

So, here it is the first ODD GNOME show of 2024 AND the first collab with Club Mojopia!
Black Market Karma can be loosely described as psychedelic rock. Their sound is thick and colourful, the core of it rooted in 60's guitar and pop music, with broader flavours of Psychedelia, Fuzzed out tones and drunken grooves. They've also incorporated touches of Folk, Blues, Traditional Indian Music, Hip Hop production and Lo Fi Electronica. Hailing from London and now residing on the South coast of England, the band has 10 albums in it's catalogue, 8 of which were made and released between 2012 & 2016, all written, performed, recorded and produced in their entirety by band leader and multi instrumentalist Stanley Belton while he was living in the band's own 'Cocoon' studio.

The DJing prowess of Rare Vitamin Records head honcho Dr. JD went down so well on Saturday with System Exclusive & Dog Sport (thanks to everyone involved, you're all beautiful people) that we've gone and put him on again this Friday. It also happens to be the day after his birthday so grab him a drink, a packet of crisp, a cuddly toy, a novelty tie, the gift of friendship or why not have a nosey through the RV bandcamp and treat yerself to something nice.
He's be doing his thing alongside the fuzzy tripped out garage vibes of both Dragged Up and PILL FANGS.

Due to unforeseen circumstances (I love using that phrase, it makes me sound like a professional) Jack Fearon isn't sure whether he'll be able to make tomorrow gig with System Exclusive.
Instead local hero JD, head honcho at Rare Vitamin Records, has stepped up to spin some of the finest records from his collection.
All being well Jack may make a guest appearance on the night too - either way, its a guaranteed banger.
