H Makes….a mess, mostly. But an eco friendly one, so that’s OK, right?

Nobody’s perfect, but in an industry that can easily produce a lot of plastic waste and use some pretty nasty chemicals, I try to reduce as much as I can without compromising on quality or performance.
I reuse and recycle as much as I can and go out of my way to avoid single use plastics, but sometimes it’s unavoidable. That’s why it’s so nice to order from a supplier and know that I can tell my client that not only are these products perfect for their project, but are eco friendly and high quality.
Hats off to Tikkurila UK and Kite Packaging especially 💜💚

Little clip from The Plaza Northwich where we're delighted to provide full Audio and Lighting Production for the Heaven 17 (Official) Event last weekend. We we're working for Radio Northwich Group who did a tremendous job promoting the event.

It was amazing to see so many people in this great venue... Looking forward to the next one.

Big thanks to our great team of technicians, lighting and sound engineers who worked so hard to make this a success.

Our first gig of the year has been cancelled due to the extension of COVID restrictions. Understandable, but still a blow.
We plough on…..

***EVENT CANCELLED***

Hi all as you probably expected the Rare Vitamin Records Annual Diversion isn't going to go ahead.

Due to the extension of the restrictions we felt that we wouldn't be able to deliver the event we were hoping to.

We have refunded all the tickets, so Skiddle should be emailing you now and the refund should be with you in a few days.

The good news is though, that we are booked in for next year, so save the dates of the 15th and 16th of July! We will be announcing line ups and details towards the end of the year and tickets will be on sale at the end of January 2022 all being well!

Massive thanks to all the people who supported this project, especially Rupert and Ian at Rotary Club Northwich for all the work he put in, Tracey Oultram and RV Top Boy JD Davies, Helen at ADBLive LTD, Lina at Barons Quay, Adam at BID, Chris at Northwich Town Council, Ian and the team at Cheshire West and Chester Council and all of you that were volunteering your time to help on the day.

Huge thanks to all the bands that were scheduled to play, The Lovely Eggs, The Virginmarys, Headsticks, TV Smith, The Pagans S.O.H, IDestroy, Nervous Twitch, The Kings Pistol, Kicked In The Teeth, Gardenback, Hazel's Maze, Leon the pig farmer and to all of you who were lined up to DJ.

Biggest thanks of all goes to all of you who'd bought tickets, it's really given us the confidence that there is an appetite for an independent music event in Northwich, see you in 2022!

With the promise of spring and lifted restrictions in the air, there are cautious little heads peeking over the parapets of a locked down, weary winter. There are murmurings of beer gardens, outdoor events, a summer of festivals. We dare, at last, to dream.
Well we’re still here!
So far, despite it all, we’ve managed to survive the last 12 months and we’re absolutely gagging to get back out there and make it happen for you!
Whatever size of event, we have something for you. From a couple of speakers in your back garden to a full festival stage in the park, we have all the audio, lighting and staging you need, plus donkey’s years of industry knowledge and community spirit!
Add to all that our brand new creative fabrication department with full workshop and art studio for all the scenery, props, branding and theming shenanigans you could ever dream of!
Don’t be afraid to ask, we’re here to help. We know that everything is still uncertain, but we’re putting special measures in place to protect us all, so we can plan for the safe summer we all deserve. Here’s hoping.....

Well well well, what an eventful Autumn! Not in terms of live events, obviously!
But let me take you through our amazing diversification project.......

It all started when I put my foot down and demanded a change. I was on my own, but I can assure you it happened.
I decided that if adbLIVE was going to survive through at least 12 months on ice, I needed to start playing to my old skill set and ultimate passion, which is scenic art, design and construction.
So I bought a huge CNC machine that wasn’t going to fit in my workshop, then smashed some walls down and made a new room for it to live in before it arrived......just made it!
Next I had to relocate all the equipment that was living in the two rooms and a corridor I’d just demolished, which meant overhauling the entire warehouse.
Upgraded the old workshop and built a lovely big paint room with spray booth (anyone who knows me will know how much this means to me!)
So now I’m all set up to make absolutely anything, how exciting!
But don’t worry, this is a new side of adbLIVE, but not it’s replacement. I’m not selling anything off or shutting anything down, the plan is that by the time live events start up again, the two halves will run beautifully side by side.
This couldn’t have been done without the support of some truly wonderful people and I thank you all for helping to make my ambition of a one woman workshop come true 💜
So finally, the long awaited creative arm of adbLIVE.............H MAKES

Today is an important day for the UK's event industry, a day where we step forward from backstage, from the control desk or the organisers office and shine a spotlight on ourselves to highlight an industry on the brink of collapse.

Behind every event, be it a concert, a conference, exhibition or a wedding there is a team of suppliers and support staff that work tirelessly behind the scenes. Every role is important in its own way, and right now there are so many suppliers and venues on the brink along with many talented and highly skilled freelancers who have no alternative but to leave an industry they love behind them and in seek of a new way to make ends meet.

The UK is renowned for it world leading events - without support this will be no more. Since early March live events have been cancelled and we don't yet know when they will return.

Please share far and wide - The event industry needs your support!!! 💙
