This Friday (29th November) we are in the big function room at Davenham Royal British Legion for a very special Guest Night. Our guest will be Jez Lowe ably supported by The Rattling Slats
Jez Lowe has long been one of the UK’s busiest folk performers, playing for audiences the world over. As BBC Radio DJ Mike Harding said recently, “No-one else writes or sounds like Jez Lowe”, and chances are, even if you’ve never heard the man himself, you’ll have heard his songs, sung at festivals, club-gigs, open-mikes or on CD, by the great and good, the professional and the enthusiast, the young and not-so-young. What higher accolade could a songwriter hope for?.
Jez will be supported by Club Favourite, Keith Price!! Keith is a multi-instrumentalist, well known on the Folk scene for his virtuoso guitar playing and diverse music styles.
Tickets £10 non members and £8 members via www.danarts.org.uk. Please contact Brenda on 07941 710791 before booking as sales have been going well and there are now only limited numbers available. Doors will be open at 7:30pm and the night will start at 8:00pm and Steve Wilde will be your host. Looking forward to seeing you there!! – VERY MUCH!!
We have made arrangements to use the school car park so please could you use it to ease pressure on the limited parking outside the Legion and to leave space for those with limited mobility. Directions to the school car park are available on our website at https://northwichfolk.co.uk/page32.html
