🎄It's absolutely freezing but we are all set up at Eaton Park by the bandstand for our last event of the year. We will be open until 9pm and have brought our last makes of 2022 with us.
There will be carol singers and there are some lovely stalls here.

We weren't planning on doing black Friday and instead have had a 20% off sale on Etsy for the past 2 weeks, and this will be on until the 30th at least. We are considering keeping the sale going until we close for orders in December (date tbc), if we can manage the amount of orders coming in.
For transparency, we are using our advertising budget to cover the cost of the sales, rather than spending it on adverts on Etsy and across social media.

As you’re probably aware, this weekend is the biggest shopping weekend in retail, Black Friday. A lot of us smaller businesses are taking part in the alternative - - which is a campaign to encourage you to ditch the mass consumption and support an independent business.
I have created this post to not only raise awareness of the campaign but to make shopping small easier for you. Scrolling through Etsy and such can be really tedious so I am asking all of my small biz pals to comment and make it really easy for you to find them, see what products they make and what offers they have on.
If you are a small business who is taking part in colour/Black Friday this weekend please comment the following so people can find you:
- who you are and what you sell
- what offers you’re running
- when they start/end
This is just my small way of trying to put you in touch with some of the most incredible independents out there and to make sure you don’t miss out on some really amazing deals🥰

🍂Just had to post this stunning photo we received with a recent review! We made a matching haircomb and posy and it looks like they were part of a very dreamy autumnal wedding!
We love that the posy was used in place of a buttonhole, and it looks wonderful popping out of the pocket like that! The orange pops beautifully against the green shirt and the bride's dark hair.

🎄Tiny Baubles!🎄
We have around 40 tiny baubles left this year with many already gone! If you'd like a set of these then get in touch and I can set some aside, as for now these are sold at markets only.
They're so sweet, how can you resist?
£1 per bauble or 3 for £2.50
They can be reserved for local delivery (NR1-NR7), collection from NR1, or shipping via Royal Mail.
🍁What goes into the making of a haircomb?🍁
First you need flowers and foliage!
Next you need a haircomb, bullion wire, and either sturdy scissors that cut wire or a wire cutter.
Lastly you need patience and the ability to hold things in place as you wrap the wire. It's fiddly and takes ages, but the end result is so worth it.

🌿Custom Order🌿
I made this gorgeous custom hair comb for a customer who needed it to arrive for an event taking place very soon.
She requested that I make it as small and flat on the comb as possible and I did my best to do so.

Thank you to the lovely customer who suggested the filled baubles with biodegradable glitter to us last Christmas! We've finally got them and have added them to our bauble range, along with all the types of baubles we had last year.
Now we've got mini baubles filled with dried goodness and biodegradable glitter, as well as a small and large size too. We already had our open front filled baubles and jar baubles but these will also make a return soon.

Mother's Day delivery update - if you ordered over the weekend we will have your posies sent out today, if your order came in last night and beyond then it will go out tomorrow. Any orders made tomorrow will go out on Wednesday but delivery by mother's day is not guaranteed unless you upgrade to special delivery as there are still delays due to Covid with royal mail. We don't have guaranteed delivery dates for any of our posies due to these delays, and can only go by the royal mail estimates which are 1-2 days for first class, but some posies have taken longer to arrive. Please upgrade your delivery if your order needs to be somewhere by a certain date or you want tracking information.
