I had 13 days left on my UK visa when I submitted a song to the new @bbcintroducing show hosted by @handgell for Norfolk & Suffolk. I remember feeling like I didn't have any floor underneath my feet and that whatever invisible string that was holding me would tether and I'll just fall and fall and fall 👁️👄👁️
Yeah, so in between that and stubbornly decorating my flat in protest of potentially leaving what has been home for me since 2017, I wrote in. The song & my story got told on the radio 🤧❤️

So so happy to represent and be able to tell a little bit about my journey so far, perform my own songs, and how BBC has also helped me get to a place where I felt like I really COULD apply for a Global Talent Visa in the UK (and finally getting a successful result a few weeks ago!)

One of my favourite things to do when I'm performing is improv. Whether that's dancing/movement or vocals. I rarely do choreography when I perform (definitely in the future in some bits!) But I always enjoy seeing what comes out of me in every performance because it's always surprising even to me😂
ps Been told that I'm posting way too much with the same outfit 🎀I know I've been wearing my friend @luxiq_fashion's design a ton - but that's because I love the way this skirt/dress moves with me & my neurodivergence also means I tend to wear my favourite things until I find a new obsession! (Even if I have other things to wear!!!)
