It was a year ago today that with a very heavy heart we closed Brasted’s for what we thought would be 2 months. Little did we know what the year would bring. However we have ridden the storm and we cannot wait to reopen and welcome you back through our doors again in the Spring. Meantime stay safe and well.

Home schooling? Here’s one for home economics - simple and fun to make, and delicious to enjoy. 👏👏😋😋

Peanut Butter & White Chocolate Cookies

1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup of peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
Handful of white choc pieces

Mix together and dollop spoonfuls onto a lined baking tray. Be sure to leave gaps as they will flatten and spread during baking.

Bake for 180 degrees for 9 mins. Take out and leave for 5 mins before eating! If you can wait....!!!!! 😋 😋 😋

So chuffed to receive this amazing update from the fabulous Nicole and Kiernan - who had a micro wedding ceremony with us last September with just 6 guests and streamed live for friends via Zoom. Such a privilege to help make this happen - especially in a pandemic when there are so many challenges to overcome. Can’t wait to welcome Nicole and Kiernan back for a full scale celebration hopefully later this year!!! 🥂🥂🥂 Thank you for Zoom streaming!

We are always experimenting in the kitchen. Here we have a new petit four - mango glazed raspberry and passionfruit coulis centre surrounded by a whipped white chocolate ganache on an almond and biscotti base. Beautiful AND delicious!

After three date changes and a venue change, we were finally delighted to host Alex and Chloe’s wedding, celebrated with 14 of their closest friends and family.
