The role will involve working across the group to raise funds from a wide range of sources to benefit existing activities and future projects for the whole organisation.

A varied and hands-on role, we're looking for applicants who have meticulous administration skills, and experience of fundraising using a wide variety of methods from large grants to small prize draws.

Over the last few weeks we have been sharing our volunteer's Golden Memories and you'll have probably noticed that our volunteers get involved in almost every aspect of life at the Poppy Line!

It is our people who really bring the railway to life and hundreds of volunteers, past and present, have helped us become the line we are today.

From those that initially worked so hard to save all they could, to the team welcoming you during your visit today, each one has helped us to be "50 Years On and Steaming Strong".

We are always on the lookout for friendly and enthusiastic people to join our wonderful team of volunteers. No matter your interests or skills, there will be a role for you!
