A ‘gem’ of a find. Fantastic stay - and really couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Pre-arrival comms about car parking availability was answered swiftly - you can’t reserve a spot, it’s just pot luck if there’s a space but never had to wait more than 5 mins for a space to become available

The hotel has a really cosy, old style bar - comfy seats, welcoming bar staff and best of all no loud music - so a real bar for meeting up with friends and family and chatting!

Room was excellent - spacious, modern with luxurious bedding and a really great bathroom and bath with a lovely strong shower - had a great nights sleep and although you’re in the centre of Norwich you don’t hear any outside noise at all

Location is perfect for visiting the city centre - everything is walkable. It’s in the heart of the city - it’s right next to the cathedral, a 15 min walk down to Carrow Road, a 10 min walk into the city centre/Norwich Market, and in the heart of all the nightlife and restaurants of Tombland /Prince of Wales Road.

A real throwback to bygone days - a classy hotel where quality, friendliness and service are evident from the minute you check-in

Norwich's Best

This is in my mind one of the best hotels in the UK. Not that I have stayed at many. I have always found the staff to be very welcoming and polite. We arrived early and found our room was ready , Fantastic! This is not always the case but in a busy hotel a real bonus. The Room was spotless. Admittedly we didn't use the restaurant this time but from past visits and there have been many. Would highly recommend.
Looking forward to our next trip in the new year. 5 star Maid's Head.
