Evening all, Ann here.

I just wanted to pop in to say thank you for all the wonderfully kind comments after our post about this year being my 60th Xmas season in floristry.
I am so humbled and grateful to all the comments. I have been so privileged to be part of all the special moments in every job I've done, either for happy or sad. It has been my heartfelt gladness I could have bought a little sunshine into such occasions. I have had so much pleasure in my life in our family business that was started with hopeful and honest hard work. I care fondly for our local community and am proud to be part of such a lovely village.
Thank you for the support from all our customers, friends and family.

BTW, we're not going anywhere and I've no plans to retire immediately so I'm still about in the shop with Yvonne. Just in case anyone thought I was bowing out. 😅

We are so proud to say that our Ann is officially working her 60th year in floristry this year having started in Cambridge at the age of 14!!
After training in London and Cambridge, 55 of those years have been in the shop in Blofield, the family business, Blofield Florists Etcetera started with her mum and dad, Percy and Pauline in 1969.

60 years of long Christmas hours, cold water, filthy hands and delivering in all weathers...but with that so many wonderful memories!
Happy faces, lovely customers, working with wonderful family and friends, fond memories such as dancing with a broom in the workroom in the early hours with Pauline (mum).
She's continuing to spread love and warmth through floral gifts with an ever present smile.
We love you!!
Congratulations on 60 years in the business (doubtless more ahead).

Sadly, but with some wonderful memories, we would like to inform everyone of the passing of Pauline.

Following a short spell in hospital she passes at the fabulous age of 94!
She was an amazing mum to Ann, nan to Lucie and Katie, great nan-nan to Joe and Charlotte, loved dearly by Bob, Andy and Darren and so many more.
Known to many people in Blofield and surrounding area she started Blofield Florists with Ann and husband Percy in 1969, still keeping involved right until her last months.

She will be hugely missed but will want to be remembered for her family foremost and as a strong feisty lady with a sharp wit and a beautiful heart.

We all love you so much. You will be greatly missed xx
