Did you know that gas appliances need to be serviced at least once a year to reduce the number of orange flames burning?
These orange flames cause an increase in the amount of carbon monoxide (CO) getting into the kitchen, which can affect the people working around the appliance with CO poisoning.

The photo below shows the before and after of a gas oven range being serviced by one of MCT's engineers.

Multi Catering Technologies has had the pleasure to work with Nicola on the new project in Chaperfield Gardens, in the Norwich City centre. We were asked to design, build, and commission a brand-new commercial kitchen and dishwasher area.

From the plastic cladding ceiling, Whiterock cladding and stainless steel walls. To the installation of the extract system and commissioning of equipment.
Finishing with our own chemicals for the dishwasher.

The view from our outside bar, you cannot beat a view of the sea. It’s the perfect place to spend your summer evenings🌞

🦀 Our next quiz evening is Wednesday 5th July, starting at 7pm. We are hoping to host it outside if the weather is still as good as this! 🦞

(Our outside bar was finished off by Winston (the youngest Matthews) who you can now find fishing with Richard (father) for the crabs, lobsters & fish! We love our small family business) 🦀

Multi Catering Technologies has recently had the pleasure to work with The Colchester Inn Group on the new project in Salhouse, just outside Norwich. We were asked to design, build, and commission a brand-new commercial kitchen that can cover 200 guests.

CONGRATULATIONS to The Lodge at Salhouse (The Lodge at Salhouse) on your opening day Wednesday, and Good Luck to Matt, Nicola, and the rest of The Colchester Inn team.
It has been a pleasure working with you all for the last few months getting ready for your new adventure and we are looking forward to working with you more in the future.

We've had a hectic week this week at MCT.
Day one of a new project in ware-washing equipment has been completed as Ciscoes Norwich.
Our engineers have been working hard stripping out the back room and putting up new stainless steel wall sheets.
All equipment and tables are now in place for tomorrow's final connections and commissioning of the equipment.

During the Christmas period MCT have decided to respond to only call outs and breakdowns.
This means that any chemical orders need to be placed before 22nd December 2022 for your Christmas period.
Our vans will be stocked with gantry bulbs, fly killer bulbs and all the essentials to keep you going through the next couple of weeks.

Is your canopy meeting the correct gas safety regulations?
No, then get in contact and we can arrange for a canopy extension to make sure you don't fail.
Your canopy should be over hanging 500mm longer and 300mm deeper (front to back) than the equipment beneath it, to ensure that it is efficient.

One year on….

This picture popped on our timeline the other day, which means it’s been a whole year since Saffron returned to work with us at ‘The Bistro’!

Saf first worked with us at weekends whilst she was at school, washing up & table clearing. Over the last year she’ll be more familiar to you from working front of house, often being the first to greet you when you come in, taking your order & preparing your drinks.

Behind the scenes she is taking a greater role with our social media, review sites, training records & weekly admin.

Many of you will already be aware that outside of work Saffron is BIG music fan, having just spent a recent week off at with boyfriend .
