Really sad to have to post a post like this, but as a business this is happening more and more often and whilst we appreciate unexpected things happen and can’t be helped,(and we always try and be as helpful as we can in those situations), as a business we can’t keep sustaining this week in week out. It’s become a constant cycle in the last few months.
Cancellations, especially last minute, or people ghosting us because you’ve changed your mind, completely and utterly ruin any small businesses like ours. When parties are scheduled we don’t expect messages a week or 3 days before saying sorry we don’t require the booking now simply because we’ve changed our minds or to be completely ghosted and ignored with no warning. by this time we’ve already ordered stock to be delivered and organised people to come in and work. We appreciate people pay deposits, but again that doesn’t cover no where near enough of what is lost when we have to remain closed.
So following on from this, all bookings made from today will be charged a larger deposit and balances for functions will be required to have been paid in full the month before. And as before no deposit, no confirmed booking.
We are sad we have to say this but people have to realise this isn’t just cancelling a party, it’s cancelling business that people require to pay the bills and keep a roof over their and their children’s heads.
Thank you for your support of Saints going forward
