Just wanted to leave this here to let you know that I am still available to book / order from, albeit not posting much on my pages!

No one believed it could ever occur,
Lives filled with panic as it did incur.
The towers once stood so proud and tall;
Surely too strong to crumble and fall.

Like any other morning, airplanes traveled high,
Until one flew low; hurtling from the sky.
Hitting the tower. Bursting into flames.
Soon, nothing would be the same.

People ran frantically as smoke filled the air.
Another plane came down- This just isn't fair.
It became obvious that we were under attack
As the sky filled with smoke that was the darkest black.

We wanted to think that none of it was true.
We never thought we'd see so much evil ensue.
Fire everywhere. People tried to escape,
But it soon became impossible. Too late.

People faced such a devastating choice:
Drop or burn. Many used their last moments to rejoice.
They embraced the freedom of tumbling from the sky;
It seemed the only painless way to die.

Soon the buildings came tumbling down;
Silence. And then the most horrifying sound.
Bar debris and dust, The twin Towers were no more
Our hearts ripped open, bleeding from an internal sore.

Among the rubble, little was left.
Of hope, everyone was so bereft.
Among the dust, someone found a perfect cross-
A symbol that helped comfort our loss.

Thousands of lives were lost to evil that day,
Though we still try to make everything okay.
Friends, family, lovers. Suddenly gone.
Our worst nightmare was foregone.

Some went down as heroes, some left flying freely.
It hurt us terribly, but made us stronger, really.
We work to find closure for this pain,
Every year we honour Them. In our hearts and our memories again.

343 firefighters and paramedics.
23 NYPD officers.
37 Port Authority officers.
1,402 in Tower One.
614 in Tower Two.
1,717 families left with no remains.
1,609 lost their lover.
3,051 children lost a parent.
20% of Americans knew a victim.

These tragic losses are forever in our hearts. We will never forget.

It's not very often that I get frustrated by the age gap between myself and my partner (12 years)
but..... oh my days did I feel it in my soul yesterday whilst packing up my books with the following conversation:

H: "Ooh this looks old, what's this"
Me: *patiently waiting for him to say Charlotte Brontè*
H: "Charlotte... Brontee ..?"
Me: "Please tell me you know who she is?"
H: *blank face*
Me: "Which famous authors did you learn about in English in school?!"
H:...... "Russell Brand"

Laugh.... or cry??! Tell me I'm not the only mid-30s avid reader here who despairs for future generations.... 🙈🤣😭

Isn't this cover print absolutely Gorgeous?!!
Have ordered it to try out on the Life Story-Book I'm currently writing up.

This incredible 89 year old has given me permission to tell you some of his story, so here is the start of one of the first chapters I've written on his behalf. The chapter is titled a simple: September 11th 2001.

Oh my goodness will you take a look at these!? I wanted something different for my wedding bouquet (just 2 and a bit months to go 👀) and something I could keep forever.
So I approached the amazing Websters Wood Art with an idea and LOOOOOK at how good they are at coming up with this!
I requested specific flowers and this is an outstanding example of a Peony. I'm so pleased with it!
And the beauty of working with another small business is that I can pay for something that would normally be out of budget; by payment plan making it affordable.
I'm Super happy with this and can't Wait to see the rest of it.

Good afternoon one and all! I know I'm terribly lax on my own updates on socials atm... that's because I've been so busy working!

Now it's not often I share other businesses on this page - I run networking groups to do that - but the beautiful Claire over at Dotty’s is Well worth the share (and a drop by and a Like if you so please).
I've been a bit of a tester for her recently; with seeing how to get her AMAZING chocolate shoes delivered safely without breaking.
The results were Perfect! And the shoe was soooo incredibly tasty 😍

She'd come up against a common slight issue in that, her artistry skills are SO good, that potential customers were messaging to order, thinking they ARE shoes 🙈
So I came up with this little verse, to hopefully ensure her customers are fully aware, before looking to order, that these are, in fact, Edible, Chocolate Shoes!

Shows how much talent she has, in my humble opinion!

A very early wake-up call from my 4year old daughter has resulted in seeing the first 6 o'clock of the day... which is not something I normally do 😴

Did have this pretty little feather land on my arm and stay there, despite this insane wind, for about 2 full minutes though!
Do you believe in "signs" like this; that someone that's passed away is close by and watching over you?

My older two girls always tend to spot white butterflies hovering nearby and say its their Daddy, who passed away 2 years ago next week 🩷

I'm working on my own wedding invites today, after this weather has put a stop to my original plan of selling at a car boot 🙈

Why is it that I can take someone's barely-coherent stream of words and turn that into a beautiful poem expressing exactly what they were trying to say... but anything crafty at all I attempt, looks like something a 5 year old could put together 🤦‍♀️
I can picture exactly in my head what I want to create but executing it is impossible 🙈

Print straight onto the card, do we reckon? Plain card instead of trying to incorporate our colours? Smaller hearts? Something "prettier" holding it together?
Of course it's for my own Wedding that I struggle!

This pretty butterfly stopped on my window yesterday for ages. Put on a great show; fluttering his wings and looking like he was sunbathing in the afternoon sunlight 🦋
Made me smile before a busy day.... and today is even longer!
- Helping out my partner Harrison Cares with taking the beautiful Izzy to school 45 minutes away for a day trip
- Delivering parcels for our day job
- Trying not to get too grumpy looking for my wedding dress (17 weeks to go and I know I'm leaving it very late!)
- Finishing up the first draft of the first chapter of a clients' Life Story
- Ending our Tuesday with a game of Poker!

So, hi! I'm Charli, 35 years old, mum to 3 gorgeous daughters, fiancèè to my amazing partner, and Celebrant, Writer, Business Blurb Composer, and all-round bit-of-everything!

I create personalised poems for a variety of occasions ranging from wedding speeches and vows to birthday gifts.
I lead personal ceremonies for weddings, baby-namings, remembrance events; all tailored to your individual lives and requests.
I write Life Stories for anyone who would like their own biography, for themselves; for a gift; or to hand down a personal piece of family history.
And I help with any other form of writing - perhaps a cover letter for a job you're applying for; a letter you're struggling to write either physically or emotionally; and many many more. I'll stop there so I don't bore you too much!

I've been running this business for 10 years now, on and off, and I haven't branched out into other forms of social media to advertise because I like the personal side of FaceBook. I enjoy "meeting" new people and getting to know them. And I love my job!

Good morning and Happy Saturday. We have a stupidly busy day upcoming with two seperate parcel delivery shifts and meeting two potential new clients.

Something a bit random for you - came across this whilst helping to clear out a house last week. From what we can tell, it's painted by Montague Dawson and rather popular by collectors- but I can't seem to find this exact painting online to get a rough estimate!

Any lovers of antique artwork on my page who can tell me a bit more about it?

Good morning to all and how was your bank holiday weekend?
We spent ours delivering parcels, picnicking in the park with friends, playing poker and taking my 4 year old for a country walk 🩷

Now, back to normality and life resumes- quiet week for me this week; catching up on admin and writing up a wedding speech and a thank-you poem before the madness of wedding season starts next week!

Good morning all and how's your week so far?
We have a nice mid-week day off so I'm catching up on paperwork and admin today.

As well as a shameless plug for my Mum. Rana was mum's best friend and she passed away last year in a car accident. Mum was devestated and put together this book of poetry to dedicate to Rana.
It's a beautiful, emotional read; almost an autobiography in poem form.

Happy Sunday all! Dare I mention the Coronation and whether you enjoyed it or not? Seems to be a rather controversial topic to bring up!

I've spent the first hour of my Sunday morning on a phone call to another small business who provides a health service I currently need. (I'll post further details later)
As a result of taking some time to have a chat and going off on about 27 different tangents (which I have a habit of doing in Any conversation!!) we've come to an agreement of a straight exchange of services - in return I'll be sharing my knowledge of social media marketing and wording for their business page and website.

One of my favourite aspects of running a small business is meeting the other amazing small business owners who will Always go the extra mile for their customers.

Bit of a random one on this dreary, damp day: I have over 100 tattoos and have had close to 200 hours done on my body so far... there's always room for more though 🙈🤣
I'd choose my scorpion and a multitude of Disney characters to help me I think!
