It's National Grief Awareness Week and we are highlighting the great work of The Good Grief Trust in raising awareness of bereavement support services available across the UK.

We love their campaign for this year. It echoes our experiences of running bereavement support groups – getting together with others who are also grieving in a safe space where you can share conversation and a cuppa is really special.

Bereavement groups are running across all our Parks in December – come and join us. You will always find a warm and supportive welcome.

If you know someone who is struggling, please let them know we are there not only in National Grief Awareness Week but every month 💚💚💚

This afternoon we have been invited to join a discussion with Debbie Binner and Kate Bristow, two presenters from KindaSound Radio, to chat about coping with loss over the festive period.

They are a community radio station with a difference. They curate a vibrant tapestry of content that uplifts, educates, and entertains, encouraging personal growth and self-discovery.

As the nights draw in and the daylight hours get shorter, we have changed our opening hours for the safety of our visitors. From now until 1 May, our gates will be open for visiting between 9.00-4.00pm Monday to Sunday. The last entry into the Park is at 3.30pm. Due to the high winds and for the health and safety of our team and visitors, the Park is currently closed. This year we are supporting our friends at Norfolk Sands hosting their Lights of Love service. If you would like to attend, follow the link in the post below.

We are pleased to announce that bookings are now open for Lights of Love 2023, our annual remembrance service. This year our friends at GreenAcres Colney are kindly hosting our service. Tickets are free but please book as numbers are limited. Refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity to light a candle to remember your baby.

This double rainbow was spotted over the Service Hall in Heatherley Wood on Friday. This natural phenomenon occurs when sunlight is reflected twice within a raindrop. Spotting a double rainbow is a rare experience. They are believed to symbolise hope, good luck and prosperity. Jeni, our Park Manager, captured this beautiful photo.
