It's @worsteadestate Farmer's Market today - there will be bunches of own grown blooms mixed with @smithandmunson tulips, specialist daffodils (the kind you'll never see in the supermarket!) and some DIY Easter bottles for kiddies and grown ups alike to get stuck into!
Which bunches do you like the best - sweetie brights, dark pink and a bit moody or pure spring yellows?
Come and find us, 10am-2pm in Barn 2. Let me know if you'll be there!

The pollinators are going mad for the ivy at the moment - it is such an important source of late nectar for them. And it also means we should have a fabulous crop of ivy berries for this year's festive wreaths!

Hovering hoverflies have well and truly made themselves at home in the tunnel this month. There are too many to count!
Big deal, I hear you say, but hoverflies are mega important pollinators and some of them even eat aphids! They're sensational. And they are really enjoying the gorgeous, frothy daucus, which is looking just wonderful at the moment.
I love growing flowers for humans to enjoy. But even more, I love growing for all of the creatures. We'd be stuffed without them!

It looked a bit like this at Blooms HQ last week...these were just some of the flowers cut for Carina & James' gorgeous wedding last Saturday.
All of these particular blooms were grown here by me. Totally seasonal. Some of my particular favourites were the buff coloured sunflowers that you night be able to spot and the buddleja that I managed to get some gorgeous scented stems off, even at this late stage in the year.
Keep an eye out over the weekend to see what these blooms became!
The epitome of the changing season - all the dahlias, sunflowers and chrysanthemum in this birthday bouquet, along with panicum, statice and foliage. All grown here by Louisa - no chemicals and tied with twine, so totally compostable and mega low flower miles, what could be better.
The season has definitely shifted now, but there's no slowing down at Blooms HQ yet...
It's that time of year - dahlias for days and days (and days) in a rainbow of colours.
You just can't beat them!
British Flowers Week
Here's a bouquet packed full of June foliage and flowers, all grown by the coast in Norfolk here @brunsteadblooms , to round off #britishflowersweek.
It includes the last of the allium and the first of the oh so purple verbena. Foliage is a mix of beech and copper beech and extra greenery in the form of alchemilla mollis and ammi majus.

Bees and butterflies
The bees and butterflies are loving the perennial scabious at the moment, it's humming with activity.
Happy Jubilee bank holiday!
Sunny May blooms.
All the sunshine-y colours for this birthday bouquet.
Ranunculus, iris, aqueligia, allium, grasses and super sunny geum, with fresh ivy foliage.
Love it. All grown here @brunsteadblooms by me - no pesticides, no chemicals, just good and happy sustainably grown flowers.
What could be better?! Flowers don't need to cost us the planet.

Bright and beautiful wedding bouquets
I can't believe this was a week ago already!
All the bouquets from Abi & Harrisons fun filled wedding celebrations.
There are so few flower miles on these blooms I can't even tell you. Phycelia, cerinthe and black parrot tulips from the wonderful Sarah @englishpeonies and the rest all grown here by me.
More about collaborations for weddings tomorrow...for now, enjoy the bright and colourful blooms.
Rainbow blooms
I love a bright and colourful bunch of blooms! These were a gift bouquet from last weekend, using some of the last of the tulips.
Everything really is springing to life now - I think May is my favourite month, everything undergoes such a massive transformation here on the #flowerfarm.
These blooms are a mix of nepita, red clover, tulips, show-stopping ranunculus, campion and burgundy ornamental plum foliage. All grown here Brunstead Blooms by me.
DM or email [email protected] to order.
Happy Friday!
Jewel blooms in Spring.

All seasonal and sustainable. All grown here. No pesticides, no chemicals, no single-use plastic. Totally pollinator friendly.
Particular fan of this burgundy blossom, I think it's from an ornamental plum here.
