Fed up with football? Don't despair come and see this very light-hearted film about an American Samoa team who are desperate to improve their disastrous world cup loss in 2001 to Australia when they lost 31-0. This is a true story of their efforts to improve and finally score a goal in the 2014 world cup run by hiring a new rogue manager with an hilarious outcome. This is being shown at Frettenham Village in Frettenham Village Hall this friday.26th July £5 per person includes a free raffle and the bar will be open. Doors open 6.45 film starts 7.30.

Calling all residents of Frettenham Village It's nearly that time of year again when we will be holding Frettenham Village Hall AGM on Monday 9th September 2024. Please come along and have your say about the amenities, share your dreams of what is ideally required for this community space. We welcome additional committee members and volunteers to help us keep this valuable hall and play area in first class order for all visitors and residents.

The Funsters of Frettenham club are celebrating their 10 year anniversary by having afternoon tea at 'a piece of cake' in Coltishall. The group enjoy social activities every Wednesday morning at Frettenham Village in the hall playing table tennis, pool and indoor curling. Anyone over 50 is welcome to join us in the future for only a £2 fee. First visit is free. We often organise additional trips throughout the year such as river and coach trips or lunches out. Lots of our members are on their own and this is a great way to combat loneliness by simply meeting and having a cuppa and a chat.

I have just had the images of dog poo sent to me! 💩What on earth is going on? Irresponsible dog owners who have taken their dogs into the play area and allowed them to do their business and then not clear it up. Dogs will be banned from this space if this is allowed to continue. If you see anyone flaunting the rules please challenge them. It's in your best interests to do so and protect your childrens play area. Bins are provided throughout the village and the Rose & Crown have poo bags just inside their door. They are doing their bit to help so please be responsible and respect our outdoor space.

Zumba classes will no longer be available to book on Thursday evenings or Friday mornings at the village hall. We do hope to resume them sometime in the future but for now they are cancelled.

Calling all residents of our lovely Frettenham Village! Your village hall recently raised funds to have hanging baskets, a flower bed and raised bedding boxes installed to enhance the outlook of the surrounding area of the hall. We would welcome your help in the upkeep, so if you have any spare bedding/ basket plants or maybe a memorial rose or bush that you would like to plant, please feel free to do so. 🌹

Equally if you are simply having a walk and spot a w**d please feel free to pull them out!
All help is greatly received.

We are volunteers who look after the hall and raise funds to keep this space at the heart of our community but we can't do it without your help.
