woweeeeee hello Facebook fellows!

I have just realised I have not posted on our page in a hot minute! I am typically more of an Instagram user and therefore post more there, but I neeeeeed to keep in touch on the side of life too!

Blame the lack of posting on meta because they wouldn't sync The Nice Place Instagram and Facebook together for some reason >:(

Anyway! The Nice Place is still kicking and screaming with loads of fun fabulous things happening, so don't think that we went anywhere!

Pictured here is a Nice Smelly Thing amongst some happy daffies we picked from the pingle in my home village 🥰

It is a whole lotta candle made with The Enlightening Blend which contains peppermint, lavender, and eucalyptus essential oils 💥

This Blend is even bug repelling! So keeps pesky flies off ya food and surroundings when you're relaxing ✨️

How to find the magic THIS SUNDAY at Liquid Light Brew Co Tap Room 🥰💥❤️

Come feel the LOVE at Liquid Light between 2 - 7:30pm this Sunday, the 17th ✨️

Supporting some of Nottingham's independent businesses and creatives, enjoying tasty Mocky-D and slurping on some refreshing Liquid Light Brewing Company 🤤🍻

Here is a little map of how to find our LOVE market 📍just around the corner from Sneinton Market and the Victoria Leisure Center! 🏊‍♀️

If you plan on taking the bus, there are plenty of bus stops in the area 🚍

If tram is your preferred mode of transport, you can find us with a 15 minute walk, getting off at The Lace Market Tram stop and walking down through Hockley into Sneinton 🚎

But if you would rather bring your four wheeled automobile then fear not - there is plenty of parking around the Taproom! 🚗

Don't forget your cute canine friends are welcome too so if you wish to bring your well-behaved doggo then don't hesitate! 🐶

Happy Sunday people 🥳

If anyone has noticed, this page has had a bit of a make over! Changing into a Facebook account to represent my studio, The Nice Place ☺️

The Nice Place has been facilitating creativity and good vibes since November 2022 and is found in Roden House, Sneinton! Since then it has been the home to Nice Smelly Things, my eco-conscious candle business that features cruelty free aromatherapy and zero waste design 💚

Under The Nice Place I have also been organising makers markets and connecting the dots between other creatives in Nottingham. So stay tuned for plenty of small business magic and self expression ✌️

Colour palette on point 👌

Beautiful bold colours delicately sprinkled in these vivid shrubs and shapes 😎

Different leaf shapes and textures combined with sharp and soft edges of the blooms

I loooooooveeee the angular blooms of cornflowers! And these pink and white variations definitely hit the spot 🤤

Today back at one of my favourite gardens in Lincolnshire 🫶

Here is a side in the vegetable patch! We can see a cheeky bit of companion planting, with the marigolds amongst the courgettes!

There are also raspberries in the foreground and this beautiful clematis climbing up the trellis

That colour is divineeeee

Such vivid colours 🤯

A sucker punch of life and texture.

I haven't put it through my plant app but I think this spikey looking pink/green/blue/green fella is from the euphorbia family!

Which actually can cause a reaction to people's skin so refrain from touching this beauty, as its the inner sap that's most potent 😢
