Little experiment in the kitchen today for a box idea I have - made these goats cheese, pistachio and cranberry truffles which with a drizzle of honey when served are very delicious

This week I’m all about goats cheese, this is french chèvre which is one of my favourites as so versatile

Other than grilled served with a rocket salad and chilli jam the other way I love to eat it is simply spread on rustic bread with a fig and shallot chutney and a drizzle of honey

I also do just cheese boards which come with breads, crackers, chutneys and nibbles and can be bespoke if you’d like your favourites too

This week’s cheese I’m loving is the Cornish Yarg

I used to run a Deli in Southwell so sold (and ate) a lot of different cheeses and this one was always very popular

Bought this from The Cheese Shop Nottingham LTD - it’s wrapped in nettle leaves and left to mature. The leaves are edible even if they do look a little mouldy, the cheese itself is a crumbly creamy delight

This will be one of the cheeses in the December Antipasto boxes
