Bring your clean clothes, sorted by size, your shoes and books ready to swap, and some cash for tea, coffee and cake ☕

Come along and find summer clothes and beach bits ready for when the sunshine turns up!

Our free event is at Sherwood Methodist Church from 10am - 12pm on Saturday 6th July - and it is open to all.
Bring along your kids (under 10's) clothes and books - clean and in good condition - sorted by size and ready to be swapped!

Less buying of new clothes helps the environment, and saves money too 💜

A quick reminder to come share and swap this Saturday 🤩

💥Join Us - Saturday 25th February 10am - 12noon💥
Happy New Year everyone! I know its late January but I am still saying it! It's cold and grey and we need all the happiness on offer!

We have got the next Share Swap Swish booked in, and hope you can make it.
Once again, we will be at the Sherwood United Reformed Church
on Saturday 25th February from 10am until 12pm for clothes swapping, book swapping, and a cup of tea!

⭐ How it works ⭐
If you have been to one before, you know the basics: bring along your little ones clothes and books that they no longer need, and get tokens to swap for something else!

We've made a few changes to how it runs on the day, to help our volunteers and make things quicker for you.

🔸 We ask that everyone brings their clothes for swapping already sorted into the different sizes. (It helps us get them out quickly!)

🔸 Swapping starts at 10am and ends at 12pm - so last entry will be at 11.50am to make sure everyone has time to swap

🔸 People who are after newborn clothes and dont have anything to swap yet - you are welcome to come along and take what you need!

🔸 It is free entry, so everyone can use the Swap!
If you find the event useful and can afford to, we hope you will donate to help keep us going.
We will have places for cash donations at the entry and at the tea kiosk.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 25th February!

Hi all, we received the following questions regarding Saturday's event so thought we'd share in case anyone else has similar questions 🙂 Thanks to the lovely local for allowing us to repost 😊

Hi! I hope you're well. I'm interested in attending the next swap but have never been before - is there any guidance around the best items to share (eg is there a demand for basics eg pjs / vests or mainly clothes)? My little one is 1 so I'd mainly be swapping 0-12m items for 12-18m and upwards but I wondered if there'd be much demand for baby clothes when most people are there to clear out?! Then do leftover / non-swapped items get donated somewhere?

Hi, thank you for getting in touch, and I’m really glad you are planning to come to the next swap on August 6th.

Please feel free to bring all 0-12m bits you are clearing out! We never know what people might need and it’s great to offer a whole variety of things- including basics like vests!

We have had a mixture of ages swapped at the last one, including a family with a tiny baby- so don’t worry about bringing things for the youngest ages. There is sure to be someone who appreciates them. At the end of the last swap, we put a few boxes into storage ready for the next one, and the rest were donated.

Thank you for your questions - and we look forward to seeing you on the 6th!

There was a great range of good quality children's clothes for little ones (under 5's) at the previous Share Swap Swish. Plus plenty of refreshments and chat too!
