At Jubilee Events we believe everyone has the right to fair and paid work. This means that individuals can afford basic necessities (housing, food, bills), alongside needed commodities (school uniform, an electronic device or a birthday present).

We believe the real Living Wage is a fair metric of this, and we're proud to be a real Living Wage employer.

That's why we're pleased to share that, as of January 2026, we will be paying our team the new real Living Wage 💪

For us, this is integral to our mission to create sustainable change, not just in the workplace, but in every area of our team members' lives ☺️

Did you know that today is World Mental Health Day and World Homelessness Day?

The fact the date is shared isn't lost on us; it reflects the interplay of these two factors 🔄️

For our team members, we saw an improvement in housing (21% increase) and mental health (15% increase) from when they first joined Jubilee Events, and their most recent review.

And, whilst we celebrate this improvement, we recognise the need for better for both our team members, and also individuals across our Nottingham. This is a shoutout to all our friends across the charity, public private sector, making that 'better' happen ☺️
