November has come, and we’ve some big events towards the end of the month where you can find us! If you’re after a pizza fix then come and find us for the finest, freshest pizza there is.

You can find us on Friday the 22nd at Arnold Market (Arnold Community Group UK) for the Arnold Xmas lights switch on, where we’ll be there all day hand-stretching delicious pizza.

The following day we’re at The Gedling Inn for their fantastic festive market from 11 till 4.

To complete the weekend we’ll be at our monthly residency at Burton Joyce Pop-Up Food Fayre once again for their lovely street food fayre. (We're there on the last Sunday of every month!)

After a short break we’ll be wrapping up the month with the Carlton Hill Christmas Lights switch-on (Carlton Hill Community / Carlton Hill Community Action Group). Last year’s event was a sell-out so get there early!

Let’s talk about our take on a classic pizza pairing, ham & mushroom. Our pizza is called the ‘Cotto’ meaning “cooked”, referring to our cooked ham, rather than the uncooked ’crudo’ prosciutto ham we all love too.

We use the finest, highest quality Italian ‘rostello’ ham. It’s a delicious roasted ham, that’s finely sliced from the joint. We never use cheap, reformed ham. Only the best we can source.

We then add tasty chestnut mushrooms, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and we’re ready to cook at 450°. It’s a staple on our menu and always a winner. Have you had one yet?

It's almost time to make the dough for tomorrow's amazing event, the Thrumpton Beer festival ! As fans of both pizza and beer, we always look forward to this date in the calendar. And for the lovely people of Thrumpton we've added a limited edition pizza to the menu - The Thrumpkin! It's a seasonal delight that we hope will go down a treat. See you there!

We love this! What a great wedding, for a lovely couple. We served up delicious fresh pizzas for their guests, and once they were full, we cooked and boxed up all the ones they had paid for. That way, all the guests that were staying at the venue had pizza for breakfast!

🍕 Let’s talk about one of our best sellers, our pepperoni pizza! This one is becoming an absolute classic, and goes down well with adults and children alike. It starts with a San Marzano tomato base, fior de latte mozzarella, pecorino, and then is topped with our lovely air-dried and hand cut Italian pepperoni, before being cooked at 450°. The heat of the oven brings out a lovely smoky flavour from the pepperoni, and the smell is just unreal! Whenever we cook one, we feel like eating one too! Have you tried one yet?

Let's talk about the Capra! This pizza is consistently popular, no matter what the season. The perfect pairing of goats cheese with slow-cooked, sweet caramelised red onions in an absolute winner. There’s something therapeutic about making pizza dough. Just flour, yeast, water and salt are the simple ingredients that create it. Then you’ve got hydration levels, yeast quantities depending on the weather and humidity. And water temperature, plus proofing times. We’ve discovered it’s a science in itself to get it right, and we’re on a journey to perfection, and we’re loving every minute.
