We've been digging around the archives today learning about the wonderful 35 year history of the conference centre, when we stumbled across this little gem - not about the centre, but the campus we're located on!

Paul McCartney and Wings performed their debut gig at the University of Nottingham back in 1972? Neither did we!

It's been a good few months since our renovations of the centre were completed, so we thought we would share some behind the scenes images with you all of our new areas.

Here is one part of the newly completed Concourse Cafe. We have pushed the space back into a recess to create more seating for our delegates; which we love!

As part of the national campaign started by Marcus Rashford, we’re working with the University of Nottingham to make sure no child goes hungry this half term.

We will be offering free lunches this week 11am – 2pm Wednesday 28 – Friday 30 October, in a Covid safe environment.

Bring a responsible adult (over 19) to claim a free meal (adult will also get a free hot drink).

Socially distance, wear masks and sit in households.

Please come to the East Midlands Conference Centre main reception and the team will point you in the right direction.

Free parking available onsite.

The team popped over to the conference centre last week for a quick tour (complete with hard hats, safety first!) to see the progress of the East Midlands Conference Centre refurbishment project. We can't wait to see the end results.
