Last week we had the best time back in the exploring and creating WONDERGROUND - a new series of digital sensory experiences for early years and their families.

This exciting project follows on from our work creating a digital sensory experience inspired by last year for - testing virtual and immersive screen technologies for early years work.

CENTRE STAGE x

Were thrilled to announced that next week as part of our CENTRE STAGE programme the incredible, multiple award winning are presenting to young people across Nottinghamshire.

Based in Rochester, New York, have earned an international reputation as one of the world’s leading physical theatre companies and we can’t wait to bring them to Notts for the UK premiere of their latest show - GRIP!

Inspired by PUSH’s multiple-award-winning off-broadway show Generic Male, GRIP gives us just what we need: another show about men. It’s fathers and sons, it’s war and death. It takes us into the beating heart of the failed patriarchy as it descends into acrobatic absurdity.

Over the course of the week PUSH will be touring the show to schools and colleges across Nottinghamshire and working with young people aged 12-18 through a series of workshops to build performance skills, engage in discussion and debate and produce their own creative responses to the show.

CENTRE STAGE is Nonsuch Studios’ flagship co-creation programme for presenting, developing and commissioning new theatre for teenage audiences inspired by the lived experiences of being a young person today. We can’t wait to welcome our first international company and spending a week with the incredible PUSH!
