Revived these beautiful yellow flag iris (avid gardeners please correct me if I'm wrong)

They'd been dumped on a muck heap looking shabby and 2 months later they've flowered.
These plants flourish in damp condition and offer great protection to young wildlife on their journey away from the water.

A big shout out to Kacey for popping in on Friday and Saturday to look after my menagerie whilst I celebrated my grandma's 80th.

My animals are so very precious to me, knowing they're in good hands is a relief.

Yesterday the tortoises had an hour outside in the sunshine, its not quite warm enough yet for them to stay out for long periods of time, but they certainly appreciated the great outdoors. This morning, it's back to rain. 🙈

Raven She eats alot, sheds constantly and always voices her opinion. She gives the best cuddles though.😍 Ear defenders anyone? 🙉 🥴

We've had a wonderful start to the weekend celebrating Frankie & Saskia's 8th birthday. The salamanders were ready for their worms this evening. Bring on tomorrows adventures 😁

Look at these amazing newts. My partner works for Rainbow Derbyshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford & Shrewsbury Whilst working in a property affected by the recent flooding, he found over 20 newts under the skirting board, which needed to be removed. He placed the newts safely in some tuppawear with damp moss. The next day we released them at the edge of our pond.

Eddy & Neddy the Tiger Salamanders enjoying a few waxworms. These boys have been with me since I started Zoe's Party Animal's nearly 10 years ago. Did you know? Tiger Salamanders can regenerate entire limbs. They can live up to 25 years in captivity. Adult Salamanders can burrow and live 2ft underground in moist soil, surviving on worms, insects, young mice and frogs.

With an average age of 27 these oldies should not be causing me grief! An early morning call followed by me doing the walk of shame with my mucky unicorns from the farmers garden across the fields , back to their own paddock. Pepper obviously feeling apologeric. NOT 😖
