Both me and my wonderful husband Chris would like to scream to the fu***ng world that we are having a baby girl! 😭💕 ahhhh! s**t just got real! We are absolutely thrilled with the news and can’t wait to meet our little strawberry 🍓 (our affectionate name for the bean ….that’s not her name, we’re not that cruel 😂)
It’s been a tricky few months emotionally plus we’re buying our first home,in the peak of wedding season and the fatigue and sickness has been KILLER! We are an all or nothing kind of couple so go hard or go home is kind of our thing 😅❤️, but we would like to thank all of our wonderful couples, friends and fam for their patience!

Sammie & Mark planned their absolute stunner of a day from across the pond in California. It’s the first time we’ve shot the gorgeous in York and I really hope we get the chance to return to this incredible venue. 🥹💕
The day was so beautiful with an outdoor ceremony overlooking the lake, an epic string quartet playing absolute bangers (forgot about Dre was a fave of mine 👌) and everything styled to absolute perfection, I’ve been honestly obsessed with this edit and I’m very excited to start sharing a few sneak peaks.

Let Me Entertain You ⚡️ Undercover Waiters
If your looking for a way to entertain your guests, get the party started and throw some big shapes pre-dance floor then singing waiters might just be for you … but I’m not talking any old singing waiters, I’m talking about the one and only undercover waiters.
We’ve had the pleasure of photographing many many times now and each and every time they smash it out of the park!
These guys are born entertainers and can get any room on their feet literally from their first song of the set and if you’re thinking … “Don’t they just sing a few songs? that’s not for me”, then trust me when I say this is more of a show to end your wedding breakfast… they bring comedy, flare, sing-a-long hits and cracking voices to boot! ( I used to work in the music industry to I’m pretty picky when it comes to someone holding a tune!)
If you’re looking for wedding entertainment I honestly couldn’t recommend these guys more … the photo’s speak for themselves.

Rebecca & Sloan were such a wonderful couple to capture, their day was full of love, laughter and so many parts of it were so perfectly personalised! Today we salute the men in our lives that held our hand, walked with us through life’s journeys and cracked a few terrible jokes 😂.

Katie & Tom ⚡️Pre-wedding Shoot
It’s such a treat for me to meet so many wonderful couples that are just buzzing for their big day, Tom however was not so buzzing about having his photo taken 😂 as with many grooms to be it was a softly softly approach but by the end of our shoot getting a thumbs up and a “your exactly the photographer we’re after” really does mean the world 🥰✌️.
So looking forward to this pairs second wedding as they have opted for a formal affair with family and one hell of a party with friends which seems to be getting very popular!

Wedding Reception ⚡️ lets get this party started!
As if the wedding day wasn’t enough of a vibe, the wedding reception is often the time to let loose and party after all of the formalities are over. I absolutely love shooting the reception as people seem super relaxed (maybe that’s the day drinking 🤣) and set for throwing some big shapes!
I love how the day changes ambiance from light and airy to dark and candlelit, it’s the most beautiful transformation and I’m not gonna lie I genuinely look forward to seeing you guys eat cake and dance like there’s no tomorrow 🙌.

Going with a few things to make you go “awww cute” this week! 🥰
Bride to be arrived in style to her ceremony in the most adorable little VW camper, naturally I wanted a few shots of her and her dad arriving and bursting with excitement so I open the door, jump into the drivers seat and tell them to snuggle in close for some pics … Lauras dad starts searching around in his jacket pocket like he has forgotten something 😬 just to peak anxiety levels enough to make Laura ask what he had forgotten he then pulls out a zip-lock bag of Laura’s fave treat … Percy Pigs 🐷.
An incredibly thoughtful moment from her dear dad and what a way to ease those pre-ceremony nerves 🤣.

From the moment I met these two on their pre-wedding shoot I knew they were my kind of people 🥰 super fun, super friendly and didn’t take themselves too seriously. Their wedding was a windy one and we had to go back outside in the early evening to get their couple photos done so they had at least a few without windswept chic 😂 and oh baby I’m glad we did! 😍

You’re having a Giraffe ⚡️Top Dad Moment
I met our lovely bride Becca’s Dad on their wedding morning as he escorted all of the ladies of the family into the venue with an umbrella to get ready for the big day. He was a really lovely guy and as he got suited and booted he showed Becca a pair of socks that said “you’re having a giraffe” with most of the sock adorned with the face of a cute giraffe.
After the first dance he told me his plan to surprise his daughter by wearing the BEST giraffe costume anyone has ever seen and dancing with her to “The lion sleeps tonight”😂, it was such a beautiful moment to photograph and it hit me so hard in the feels that I had to share this story with you, turns out Becca loved giraffes as a kid … can we get a round of applause for a top dad moment 👏👏👏

Eloise & Jake ⚡️ Pre-wedding Shoot
I met up with the gorgeous Eloise & Jake last week for their pre-wedding session at Highfields Park and with winter officially over and spring in full flow I had forgotten just how many lush spaces we have here in Nottingham right on our doorstep!
These guys were so fun although a little nervous on what to expect from a pre-wedding session and by the end of our time together I knew that we had nailed it! I'm really not one for big posing, there might be little bits of direction that I'll give my couples but to me it's more about how you interact with each other that really makes a shot both pretty and personal.

Splitting the G ⚡️ Wedding Edition
Guinness recommends that, to avoid the bitter taste of the nitrogen foam head, gulps should be taken from the glass rather than sipping the drink. A practice, known as "splitting the G" has been an entry on the Urban Dictionary website since 2018 and has recently become a trend in which Guinness drinkers attempt to split the G on the logo side of the glass with the head of the famous stout.

Why I don’t do next day wedding sneak peaks ⚡️ So a lot of couples drop me a DM the day after the wedding to say how much they enjoyed the day and how excited they are to see the photos, which honestly is f**king adorable and I’m right there with you guys! I am SO excited for you to see the pics 😍. I am then usually asked for “just one photo” to post on social media and here’s the thing my loves … it’s not as easy and just sending over one pic from the day and here’s why … After the wedding I usually triple back up your photos. I work on each wedding in order of the date it happened and during wedding season I start to compile a little back log of weddings due to working at weddings most weekends, I’m working on each set of photos most days to get them to you as quickly as possible and I very rarely have days off especially in wedding season as I honestly am as excited as you to get the album together. I don’t send over unedited photos as to me this looks slap dash and like I can’t be bothered to the outside world, I get that you probably are just really excited to see them but TRUST the edit will make them worth the wait! I hand pick every photo from usually around 4000 that I took on the day and carefully edit each one in my signature style to make sure it sparkles, I don’t just slap a filter on every shot or use AI software to edit or cull my images, I really believe in the process and hopefully that shows in the final gallery. Once every photo has been double and triple checked I upload your personalised gallery and send it over, at this time would usually pop a few sneak peaks on the gram for you. I really, really, REALLY care about not only capturing the day perfectly but also delivering your memories in a way that is beautiful and exciting, these are your memories from one of the biggest days of your life and I feel like they should have time, effort, craft and skill put into them. They aren’t just social media
