🦊 Calling all little cubs aged 0-1(ish) yrs! We're hosting a special play time in our spacious upstairs family café area just for you & your grown-ups.

🧸There will be lots of exciting toys, soft mats, and safe places for babies to play while grown-ups relax, catch up with each other and enjoy our yummy cakes, pastries & more.

☕️ Entry includes a FREE cup of coffee from the amazing .leeandfletcher local roasters (it's really good coffee!) or a lovely cup of tea if you prefer.

⭐️ It's £4 admission and no booking is required ⭐️
You can pay by card on the door.

Feel free to drop in any time 👉🏼 Mondays 11 - 3:00 or Thursdays 9:30 - 3:30.

⬆️ Please note: this is held in our upstairs venue (not in the role play village).
Therefore buggies will need to be stored downstairs & little ones carried upstairs.

👷‍♀️📮 Introduce them to our role play areas, in a quiet, safe session reserved just for crawlers, cruisers and learner walkers!!

🐾 Our role play village is a NO SHOE ZONE to ensure the floors stay nice & clean for crawlers.

👋There are ledges, props and toys at all levels so no-walkers can play with easy access or pull themselves up if they're able.

You can enjoy one of our delicious freshly made sandwiches 🥪or salads 🥗and your little one will get a snack🍇 to enjoy as well.

🕳️👷‍♀️ Please be aware that there are some major gas works taking place on Chilwell High Road through August and September.

🚘 Chilwell High Road will be closed between the junctions with Cator Lane and Bridge Avenue until 6 September. We are still OPEN for those coming in that direction a diversion will send you along the A6006 Queens Road West while the works take place. Please just allow a little more time to get here ⌚

The location of the work will not affect NET Trams but bus firms have warned of disruption to some routes

We might even loan out some of our exceptional builders 👷‍♀️ 🦊 !!

Great idea for the school hols!!

We have a number of book swaps dotted around the borough - a wonderful resource available for grabbing a free read!

In the same vein, here's another fantastic idea from Becky at Snuggles and Kisses.

"If you have any children's books you no longer want, just drop them in and I'll start a Book Swap 🤍

I'll keep them in a basket for now, but if anybody has anything suitable to keep the books weather proof (a small cabinet/bookcase) that they no longer want, just let me know...I'm happy to upcycle/give something a lick of paint if necessary.

Something that's easy for me to bring into the shop each night would be brilliant!"

📢 Exciting News for School Holidays

From 29th July to 30th August we are opening our upstairs as a Themed Family Cafe - perfect for mid-morning breathers, lazy lunches & afternoon escapes.

🦊 What makes us different?
Our cafe has plenty of space for your children to play whilst you have a relaxing drink and a bite to eat. We have lego, magnet tiles, crafts, jixels and more....🧩 📚 Grab a tray and play at the table, or meet some friends on one of our specially made games tables. We have board games to keep the grown ups entertained as well!! 🎲

🦊🕒 Opening Hours
We will be open from 10:00 - 3:30 throughout the Summer Holidays, closed on Thursdays for our Little Cubs Stay and Play.

❗No booking is required for the upstairs family cafe, however, please note entry into our role play town is not included - this can be booked as normal through our online booking system (link in bio) 💗

🍼🦊 We know so many things stop over the summer holidays so we wanted to keep something in place for our little cubs.

On Thursdays we will continue to run our Little Cubs Stay and Play. Just £3.00 entry which includes a drink. ☕

WINDY BABY, COLICKY BABY, REFLUX, GRIPE?

When your baby has any sort of digestive issue you want to do what you can to help them. It's so hard to see their discomfort. Been there myself and I've seen how much massage can help an angry little colicky baby relax and settle.

I'm not offering a magic wand but what I am offering are some fantastic baby massage and baby yoga techniques to help support your baby's digestion and help them release their wind.....we often get some brilliant sound effects during this massage 🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️

HAPPY TUM, TRUMPY BUM is one of our five core classes taught as part of The Family Way's TINIES group, But I am also offering this session as a standalone group too to help you if you want to learn to soothe your baby's tummy but can't commit to a full set of baby massage classes or you want to try a class and see what baby massage is all about.

Happy Tum, Trumpy Bum is at 11am on Wednesday 15th May at Little Foxes Beeston and you can choose to buy just this session for £8 or you can upgrade to the full five sessions and receive your bottle of massage oil for £40.
