Hi! 👋 I’m Sophie, the blossoming florist behind Beauquets (and just in case you’re wondering - it’s pronounced *bow-quets* … I live on Beau Gardens which inspired my creative name 🤣💐) Seems as though it’s my first day back at work tomorrow (after the CRAZINESS of my first Christmas as a florist!) I thought I would introduce myself to all of my new followers and put a name to the face of my business! However, please don’t be fooled…this is me before December roughed me up (looking super relaxed after a full spa day and a few, cheeky wines 😉) and you’ll never see me looking this glam when I’m freezing and in my scruffs for work, but I thought I best make a good impression 😄 I’m a wife, entrepreneur (or trying to be😆) and most importantly, a mammy to my two beautiful girls - Nolah (7) and Mila (who is almost 2). I began studying floristry almost 2 years ago and I am now studying a 2 year professional floristry qualification in Durham, whilst running my business from my home studio in Middlesbrough. I work independently (but I certainly couldn’t do it without all the support from my family - especially my amazing mam and lovely husband!) But… I also wouldn’t be on this exciting journey if it wasn’t for the incredible support of my amazing customers, so THANK YOU. It’s because of you that my dream is becoming a reality and I can’t wait to see what 2023 has is store for Beauquets 🖤💐 Don’t quit that daydream 💭 🎶 I look forward to sharing my journey with you all.
