Follow these steps to find your dress in the FIRST and ONLY place you visit... 😌 ✨ PREPARE - dress shopping is really exciting but it's important to have some idea about the styles you like, features you'd like your dress to have (or not have) and knowledge of the type of dresses that are stocked in the boutique before visiting. You will feel more in control of the appointment if you are able to tell the stylist what you want and don't want from a dress.. even if it is a basic starting point! ✨ MANAGE - your emotions. Dresses aside, you also need to prepare yourself for the emotions that come with dress shopping. It's a truly special occasion and you may need to ask yourself, are you feeling overwhelmed in the moment because of the commitment to a dress OR because you feel overwhelmed by the thought of entering another stage of your life. Separating the two can really help to find your dress in the first appointment. ✨ PLAN - think about the type of person you are and whether more opinions are going to help or hinder your decision making. Is there anyone in your group who may take over/voice their opinion before thinking of yours/prioritise what they want you to wear? If so, it's probably best you set expectations beforehand or don't invite them, as this can make things difficult. ✨ BE OPEN - The main reason for not finding your dress is usually because you have already told yourself it won't happen and have planned to visit several places.
