To all my amazing followers, past brides and those who have supported me since the beginning of Modern Day Bridal, I want to share some important news with you all.
You may have noticed my social media has been quiet recently and I have not been actively promoting new bridal bookings. After a lot of thought and reflection, I’ve made the decision that Modern Day Bridal will be closing after two fantastic years.
This journey has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Creating Modern Day Bridal from the ground up has brought so much joy and I’ll always be grateful for the memories, the lessons and the incredible people I’ve met along the way.
To every single bride who trusted me with such a personal and important part of your wedding, thank you. It has been an honour to help you find the dress and to be such a huge part of your journey, as you prepare for your big day.
Running this boutique has taught me so much about business, resilience, creativity and myself. However over time, I’ve realised that this isn’t the path I want to continue long term and to be completely honest, no matter how hard I’ve worked or how much I’ve poured into this business, the reality is that the ongoing costs and financial pressures simply don’t justify continuing. It’s a tough truth but one I have to acknowledge with clarity and care.
To all brides with upcoming collection appointments, please rest assured that these will be fully honoured. Your dresses are on track and ensuring a smooth, supported handover is my absolute priority. All brides who’s dresses are on order, have been contacted individually and every order will be fulfilled as planned.
This chapter is coming to a close but I will always look back on it with pride and gratitude. Thank you to everyone who supported Modern Day Bridal. From your kind words and compliments, to your bookings and trust in me during one of the most special times in your life. I’ll never forget it.
