stence adds to the enchanting ambience of Normanton Church, which now stands a surviving treasure of the past. Saved from the reservoir floor, the only thing flooding this venue is light. The many windows illuminate the arched interior and offer picturesque views out across the water. Exquisite beauty radiates in waves from this grade II listed building, built in the classical style. The church, originating from medieval times, was re-designed in 1826-9 by Thomas Cundy and his son, surveyors to the Grosvenor estate in Westminster. A Rutland icon, Normanton Church is stylistically evocative and a truly novel civil ceremony venue. This setting is guaranteed to create cherished memories doused in romanticism. The wonderful staff at Normanton Church are always there with a big smile to assist no matter what the weather! Unfortunately we aren’t quite in the position to be able to conduct individual οΏΌshows rounds for various reasons - but we hope this short video provides just a short glimpse of the inside of this truly wonderful structure. All items shown in the clip, such as candles, floral wedding arch, decorative flowers, bay trees, fairy lights & wicker decorations are included with the hire of Normanton Church. Our newest addition, the stunning wooden wedding arch, has recently been expertly made by one of our partners - The Rutland Marquee Company.
