July brings a busy month of super swims for Pacesetter Events!
We’re hugely excited for the very first swim event at Carsington Water. Join us on Thursday 11th for Carsington Island Swim.
Fancy another mid week treat? Why not head to Rutland on the 18th for our ever popular Rutland Tower Swim, a great adventure out into the reservoir.
Want to end the month with a big challenge? You’ll find us at Grafham Water on the 28th for the second year of SwimGrafham. We’re praying for a little less wind than last year 💨

Day two of Burghley Multisport Weekend and what a day it’s been!

We’ve seen 5k,10k and half marathon runners enjoying a scenic tour through Burghley’s stunning parkland.

We’ve had swimmers of all distances having a whale of a time in the sparkling, warm lake.

Swim, Bike, Run mini saw people of all ages having a go at a new sport- great to see some of the next generation of triathletes taking part.

Tomorrow holds a day of all things swimming, biking and running!

About us

Based at one of Europes largest and most beautiful reservoirs our course is one not to be missed. Rutland Water is one of the most iconic landmarks in the midlands and attracts thousands of people from across the country. As well as its breathtaking views, it is an incredible undertaking swimming across its width. Our main course is 2km across the reservoir with options to complete numerous passes up to 8km. We also have our mini course (500m) as a great beginner or junior option, which takes place in a more sheltered area of the creak. Swim Rutland is proudly sponsored by active swim specialist Aqua Sphere, the expert in swimming goggles and masks with innovative curved lenses for extraordinary panoramic vision and a comfortable no-pinch seal.

We appreciate the lakes natural beauty by day, however when the sun goes down we bring out the glow sticks and swim into the dark. In September we host our social and unique event, Rutland NightSwim. Hundreds flock to the reservoir, trapped in glow sticks and experience an evening swimming underneath the stars.
