A festive piece inspired by Gregor Lersch’s workshop ran by in Newark . The texture and colour is something I’ve been admiring, in the choice of flowers and materials and I’m now completely obsessed with wax work!

I'm so looking forward to smashing out another fab Christmas Display with British Academy of Floral Art students this year for you to enjoy during your workshop experience.

As always we promise to be the MOST Christmassy Workshops in town with displays, lights and a super festive Christmas tree for awesome group photos! Lydford House

The Wreath Workshop! Super Christmassy, hugely popular workshops we’ve held for the last 4 years - £82.50pp including Tea and Coffee and an Afternoon Tea served in the Dining room at Lydford House.

* 1st Dec 2024 - 1pm - 5pm with Afternoon Tea at 1pm
* 7th Dec 2024 - 10am - 2pm with Afternoon Tea at 1pm

A lovely write up from Maria and Steve.
Maria had a clear vision for her day, colours, style, and the shape of her bouquet, which was a shower bouquet.
I was able to wire the trailing element and leave the main bouquet stems on so that it could be taken apart and the flowers could be enjoyed at home in the days after the ceremony.
In line with current trends this bouquet had no foliage in so I used flowers as spacers and I sourced Dendrobium Orchids which sat proud of the bouquet giving it a lightness and texture that foliage would have otherwise provided.
