Sometimes the weather just is not on our side so the outdoor wedding that was planned has to move indoors. But don't worry, we are here to help you every step of the way. The weather changed and this outdoor ceremony was moved inside in record time by our amazing team and how stunning does it all look?
It was the most beautiful day despite the rain and gale force winds.

It is always best to have a good wet weather plan even when getting married in the middle of summer. At Ashridge we go through it all with you and support you to make sure you have the day of your dreams. E&D brought in gazebos to shelter their guests from the summer rain and then had their ceremony in the wooden pavilion in the Magic Circle to ensure they still had their outdoor wedding ceremony. What a glorious wedding photograph 💚💜
As well as being a beautiful, peaceful place to get married the Magic Circle also looks pretty spectacular from above. You can see all the purple rhododendrons just bursting with colour here. It is special at all times of the year but during spring this year it was just bursting with colour!

The fitting perfectly in underneath the Shade Sails outside the barn, which keep you dry in the showers or cool in the heat. Who else loves a boho wedding? This stunner of a bell tent was set up by @devonbelles_belltenthire for D&E’s wedding guests during their drinks reception.A good move to use as the weather turned out a little less cooperative! We’ve just got some new rugs for the prop collection, so excited to see them styled as a part of a wedding.

Did you know that you get 3 days hire included when you book your wedding here? You have the whole day before to get things looking perfect in and around the barn, you can stay in our cottage onsite the night before if you choose to and start your set up early on Friday if you want to. This is one of my favourite parts of the weekend as I love seeing all the plans coming together and couples visions coming to life! I love this #behindthescenes Timelapse which shows the bustle and part of the transformation in the barn! It looked fantastic on the day.
