DIY wedding ideas? You can make pallets look pretty....Pallets are such a useful and usually quite easy to find item and perfect to use for your Plan of the day or welcome signs. We usually have some spare ones here if you need them!We are always more than happy to help source things for you if you need them.

Dog friendly weddings 🐕Want to bring your four legged friend to your wedding? We know how important pets can be and we are a very dog friendly venue. We have had several weddings with dogs as part of the wedding party and we love it! We have a lot of space for dogs and our cottage on site is also set up for dogs so when they need a break they have somewhere to go.

The Magic Circle looking beautiful and wedding ready. If you are thinking about an outdoor wedding you should come and have a look around our gorgeous gardens, we really are very lucky when it comes to outdoor space and you can use that outdoor space how ever you want! We still have availability for 2025 and are taking bookings for 2026/2027 too.

A bonus if you are getting married here at Ashridge is that you have access to our huge prop collection. 🌟 We have a fantastic collection of vintage china for you to use as you choose if you want to. One of our couples used our lovely tea cups and saucers for serving some home made cocktails in our drinks dispensers at their drinks reception.
Couples are welcome to use our various plates, cake stands, teapots, milk churns or bottles and vases or anything that you see that takes your fancy.
This was a great talking point and saved on glass hire as you are able to borrow any of our props for no additional charge.
🌟 We love seeing ideas and supporting our couples to help them come to fruition!

So here we are, into December and the official meteorological winter ❄️⛄❄️Winter came a little bit early for us so we had a lovely covering of snow last week. The snow makes the world look even more magical and very festive! Who else loves a boho wedding? This stunner of a bell tent was set up by @devonbelles_belltenthire for D&E’s wedding guests during their drinks reception.A good move to use as the weather turned out a little less cooperative! We’ve just got some new rugs for the prop collection, so excited to see them styled as a part of a wedding.

Did you know that you get 3 days hire included when you book your wedding here? You have the whole day before to get things looking perfect in and around the barn, you can stay in our cottage onsite the night before if you choose to and start your set up early on Friday if you want to. This is one of my favourite parts of the weekend as I love seeing all the plans coming together and couples visions coming to life! I love this #behindthescenes Timelapse which shows the bustle and part of the transformation in the barn! It looked fantastic on the day.
