We do great bbqs. We even bring our own 2ft propane gas commercial bbq and trestle tables with us. We use compostable platters, bamboo cutlery and plates, which can all go into food waste, and we avoid single use plastic.

Butchers sausages
American hot dogs
BBQ pulled pork
Cajun Chicken thighs and drumsticks
Cheese slices
Salads, sauces and pickles
Homemade coleslaw and potato salad.
Vegan options on request and all dietary requirements can be covered.

Prices start from £12.50 per head.

As much as possible is made from scratch. Locally grown tomatoes into the dehydrator tonight, to make a lovely batch of sundried tomatoes in an infused oil of local wild garlic and home grown herbs.

Making the most of Wild garlic season in Devon.

Wild garlic season is upon us so I'm making the most of a bit of Dartmoor foraging. Wild garlic salt, wild garlic and caper butter (which tastes amazing on Jersey royal potatoes) and some wild garlic oil for drizzling over steaks and salads for the next few months. 🧑‍🍳

Had the challenge of catering a Latin American themed party for 100 guests last week. Exciting menu with lots of unusual flavours and ingredients to make flautas, empanadas, chimichurri dip , chilli tortilla baskets and loads more and the client was happy with it. 😍🧑‍🍳😍

Amuse Bouche
Carpaccio of Fillet Steak or Smoked salmon on a cheddar and jalapeno crostini with white truffle oil dressing and asparagus spear

To Start
Seared scallops and lobster tail with a lime and coriander beurre blanc on bed of chicory, samphire caper salad

Sorbet
lemon and coconut sorbet with caramelized apple tuile

The Main Event
Pan fried breast of duck with a sour cherry coulis served with dauphinoise potato and wilted rainbow chard
Halibut steak as above with lemon and pink peppercorn butter

Pre Dessert
Egg and Soldiers.. baked meringue, mango puree, charred pineapple, clotted cream and chia seeds

Dessert
Dark chocolate delice with brownie soil, fresh berries and dark chocolate orange gelato

Artisan cracker, trio of local cheese, pineapple chutney

The quality of the food supplied from Wendy at Dartmoor Dining was exceptional. If you are looking for something special and nicer than usual party food, then I would recommend. Great value for money too. All of the guests at the party commented on how lovely it was.

Canapes

Mini Fillet wellington
Mushroom with goats cheese or stilton on crostini
Stuffed Peppardews
Soft boiled quail eggs with celery salt

To Begin

King prawns and capers in a beurre blanc sauce with tarragon and chives

Roast red pepper, tomato and basil soup

Home made ardennes pate, with a homemade chutney, salad leaves and balsamic dressing

All the above served with freshly baked crusty bread and butter on the table.

The Main Course

West Country Fillet Steak wrapped in Parma Ham with bearnaise sauce

Duck Breast with wild cherry sauce

Pan Fried Sea Bream with samphire and cherry tomato salsa

All served with dauphinoise potato, steamed green beans, spinach, carrot and lemon puree

Pre Dessert

Egg and soldiers - meringue with passionfruit and mango puree, pineapple soldiers, chia seeds and clotted cream

Dessert

Chocolate lava pudding with fresh raspberries and clotted cream
