🎁✨️Wedding Favours: Yay or Nay? ✨️🎁

We've all been to weddings where the favours were a bit of a dud. But what if they could actually make a difference?

I've seen some grear examples of couples using wedding favours to do some good. Like Püren and Tom, who donated to charities they cared about and gave their guests lovely little pins. It was a smashing idea!

Are you planning on having wedding favours at your wedding? If so, why not make them count? Donate to a cause you're passionate about or choose a favour that supports a local business. It's a small gesture, but it can make a big difference.

There are so many photos and portraits that I could put in this post, because this couple is just so cute together! Our Dr and Dr Newlyweds brought lots of playfulness, style and their personalities in their wedding celebration and have gone fora a bold colour palette or reds, pinks and a dash of orange! I love how it all came together and it has been a pleasure to work with Püren and Tom and the wedding team they put together!

When your team just gels on your wedding day, the magic it creates is amazing!

Hello October!

I've seen some new followers, so I thought I should say "Hey! I'm Clarissa, a wedding planner and a Mum of two silly sausages!"

I can't believe I almost missed the start of my favourite month (also it's my birthday month 🎃). I've been a bit busy with the little bubs and taking her out of the house while the bathroom renovation is ongoing. I also received the amazing photos from from the Creative Wedding Fair! I will be posting more because they look so good, and you may already have seen some from the other suppliers at the Fair!

Best believe, the Creative Wedding Fair will be back in 2025, and we will be announcing a new date very soon, so stay tuned!

I can't believe it's the end of September! As we welcome a new month tomorrow (my fave!!) we can certainly feel that autumn is in the air! I will have to put away my open toe sandals (but tbh we didn't get a lot of wear of them this summer 🫠) and dust off the boots!

Speaking of shoes, I am still obsessed with these green velvet shoes from Sarah and Arash's wedding! Their wedding was in Spring but I feel that these emerald green shoes can also be for an autumn wedding!
I would love to have green velvet heels but let's be honest, I live in trainers and ankle boots since I turned 30, 7 years ago. 🤣

💰🧧Wedding Gifts: Is it cheeky to ask for money? 🧧💰 Maybe it's a cultural thing but some of us Brits aren't great at talking about money and in the past I've been told that outrightly asking for cash gifts instead of any physical gift is considered a bit cheeky. I'm hoping that things have moved on from this and that couples feel that they can ask or remind guests that they would be grateful for money, and this can be towards a honeymoon or a house deposit or a renovation. Some even have poems dedicated for this but for me I don't mind being told clearly in plain terms that the couple would money. What do you think?
