Our Story

We are currently offering a Take out service for home made family pies (single portions can be made as well) Fillings are Meat and Potato, Steak and Stilton, Cheese and Onion, Chicken Tikka and Family dinners such as Fish Pie, Cottage Pie, Lasagna, Beef Cobbler, Jerk Chicken with rice and beans . These can be ordered by messaging us on facebook or calling 07717677304.

Set in 10 acres of farm land, 17th-century The Dining Room is located at Grains Bar Hotel. We offer a warm friendly atmosphere and home cooked style dining. We are surrounded by the beautiful Pennines, on the boarder of Lancashire and Yorkshire, with the Pennine Way on our doorstop. We currently host a modest dining area at the present, with the NEW Dining Room opening in September. The NEW Dining Room will launch a NEW dining experience in the ‘Grains Bar’ Area. The Dining Room offers a picturesque intimate private dining area in the up stairs lounge, you can enjoy dining whist over look the saddleworth country side. Please contact us for more information we are happy to assist you. Located in Oldham, we are a family run Hotel .

We are open 6 days a week (the dining room is currently closed to the public for COVID-19). Dining Room Offers: Great home cooked food 6 days a week (closed Saturday) ‘Senior Meal Deals’, Fridays is ‘Date Night Dinner’ and Sundays is ‘Breakfast and Brunch’. We are always open if you pop in for a drink, hot and cold drinks are available.
