On the back of Fridays we next have the brilliant Live/Wire - The AC/DC Show which also sold out last time so we had them in our excellent venue.

They were without doubt one of the best bands we have ever had on so we just had to have them back so sample that atmosphere all over again

The band deliver a High Voltage two hour rock ’n’ roll set with a full bank of Marshall amps but a journey that takes fans from one of the best-selling albums of all time ‘Back in Black’ through to the 2020 release ‘PWR UP’, with a healthy dose of the classics from the Bon Scott era.

This AC/DC show normally plays on much larger stage than Uppermill Civic Hall so we honoured to have them

We are nearly sold out for what is going to be another truly memorable night.
10 online tickets and 20 between Uppermill Post Office, Suki's Wardrobe and Inner Space Records, when they are gone they are gone.

Remember to get there early, doors at 7pm, to get one of the 220 downstairs seats. There are 90seats on the balcony, you will be able to get a seat there if you arrive later.

We can not reserve seats, please be respectful to each other!

Their genuine, finger-popping, foot tapping, high energy, full-on party performance has now been in demand for over three decades across the UK and beyond. If you came to this show last time, you know that you are in for a good night. If this is your first time, bring your dancing shoes.

Not too many tickets left for this The Southmartins gig now, don't miss what is going to be an amazing night.

Dave Sweetmore is opening proceedings with his usual class tunes at 7pm. Followed by your favourite songs from The Housmartins and the Beautiful South, there loads isn't there! If you have seen this band before you know what a brilliant night we are in for at Uppermill Civic.

Next up to our brilliant venue we have a night of great music with Dave Sweetmore and The Southmartins
The Southmartins are a unique tribute to the songs and sound of The Beautiful South & Housemartins. Constantly gigging since early 2010 in the UK they have built up an unbeatable reputation as a live experience.
With an unbeatable songbook to draw upon including solid-bronze classics such as Happy Hour, Caravan of Love, Perfect 10, Don't Marry Her, You Keep It All In and many, many more, every song is a banger, their high energy live shows frequently sell-out in advance and garner rave reviews from customers expecting something, perhaps, a little more "traditional".

We are very lucky that they have agreed to play for us, they normally sell out much bigger venues than ours. We have been trying to book them for years. With a back catalogue like this to call on, it's going to be yet another epic night of cheap entry, cheap drinks and amazing music. What's not to like!

Stitching this all together and keeping the dance floor busy as only he can we have the brilliant Dave Sweetmore.
