Best thing to do after the epic meal for the TMFC Christmas night out is to relax this weekend.....not all of us will be though as Coach Mike and Beth have flown over to Budapest for a Junior World Cup!

A message from Mckenzie!

During my time at The Manchester Fencing Centre I have had the true honour and privilege of working with some outstanding athletes, coaches and support team. I have truly enjoyed the last 3 years of working here and working within the fencing community.

I can not thank the The Manchester Fencing Centre and Mike enough for the opportunities I have been given through the years, I wish the best of luck to the athletes and staff at TMFC as I depart and start a new chapter in my life.

I am truly grateful for the lessons I have been taught and the memories I have got that will last a life time.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish Alex and Varya good luck and the best wishes with their future at TMFC.

Congratulations to Bethany Brierley, who took a silver 🥈medal in the individual U23 women's sabre tournament at the EFC Munich event over the weekend!

“I’m delighted to have taken silver at the U23 international tournament in Munich. It was an incredible experience, and I’m so grateful to my coach, Mike Swiffin, and my Manchester Fencing Centre family for their unwavering support and guidance. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without them, and I’m excited to keep pushing forward in my fencing journey.” said Beth.
