I had a really lovely evening with these ladies on Thursday making Christmas wreaths at bake. It was great to see some familiar faces too, including customers who had bought wreath kits from me last year and those who had been to past workshops. Thank you to all who came, all the wreaths were really beautiful 💚

It's been a whirlwind several months with more weddings packed into six months than I usually have in a year. Seeing the professional photos from weddings I've been involved in is always a real treat - this one from a few weeks ago at South Farm is no different. I really loved the style of arrangements Annabel and Henry chose, as well as the mix of autumnal flowers and grasses. How perfectly do the bouquets go with those stunning dresses?! 😍

Two beautiful weddings this week, one at Wasing Weddings, the other at South Farm. Many congratulations to Rosie and Piers and Annabel and Henry 💞 I absolutely loved both couple's vision for their wedding flowers, from autumnal blush and dried grasses to meadows of wildflowers, they were completely different but perfectly unique to each couple.

Six weddings in seven days... DONE! 🤯🙌🏼

I have just had the busiest couple of weeks ever with my business and I've travelled nearly 500 miles in total! It has been a mad few weeks with 5 weddings, a styled photo shoot and 2 hen party workshops 🌸

I've got a couple of weeks off now then I'm back with 2 hen parties and 6 weddings in the space of 3 weeks! Here is a floral heart I made for Laura and Liam's wedding celebrations this weekend 💗

I thought I would have online ordering of flowers back up and running on my website by now, but things have got very busy now weddings are happening. I do apologise if you've tried to order flowers on my website the past few weeks and not been able to, but as a one person business, its difficult to fit everything in - as much as I want to - and weddings take up so much time just with the preparation and admin side. I can still take bespoke orders and would be happy to help if there is a special occasion coming up. Here are a couple of bespoke orders I made recently - one was for a couple celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary and the bouquet was made in their wedding flower colours (burgundy, pink and white), whilst the other was for a golden anniversary celebration (yellow and violet)

Congratulations to Michaela and Allan on their wedding today 💒 I loved making Michaela's bridal bouquet - my first since December 2020. It had a real mix of seasonal flowers, including dahlias, peonies, nigella, cornflowers, gerberas, lavender, thistles and tons of grass 🤍

You want to send someone flowers. Great! When you place an order from a florist, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes before that bouquet is delivered to your loved one. Here is a little snippet of my morning today 🌼 In a very brief nutshell, I will work out the stem count required and order flowers from the wholesaler and either organise delivery or collect them. Buckets are thoroughly cleaned and filled with fresh water (the least fun part!) When I've got the flowers, they all need unpacking and stems stripped of leaves and trimmed. When they are ready, I can begin creating the bouquets. Once finished, they are wrapped and the flower food sachets and message cards are written and attached. Then it's time to head out and deliver! I've made this sound fairly simple and straightforward, but it sometimes isn't! 🙊 I love flowers and am lucky to do what I do 😊
