How I cover my cakes…yes i use the in one method as opposed to panelling…because i hate seeing those join lines even if they are faint.
You can also find trainings and my book through the link on my about page…as well as how to book your wedding cake too.

It’s so important to consider what season your wedding is in when thinking about your wedding cake.
Here’s 4 tips…
Heat
•think about the heat in summer, especially certain venue styles like barns, teepees, marquees and pavilions.
•buttercream, naked and semi-naked styles are popular for summer though not necessarily practical…consider ganache or fondant as they’re much more stable.
• if it’s hot for you then it’s too hot for the cake!
Cake Table
•think about where the cake table is positioned, often it’s by a window…sun through a window intensifies the strength and makes it hotter…perfect for melting any cake!
•ask your venue/cake designer to have table away from the window when the sun is at peak passing that area.
When to cut
•if it’s a very hot day, consider doing the cutting of your cake earlier than normal, say on arrival at your venue during the drinks reception. This way the cake isn’t sat out for hours.
Flavours
•when picking your flavours there will always be seasonal ones that utilise fruits or flavours more readily available at certain times of year.
