What an absolutely brilliant night last night at Gorleston social club (the Green Bear)
Amazing audience that didn’t stop dancing once they were up and we had great fun too.
Add to that the donations in our little bucket and from the generous Green Bear management, we raised a really nice amount for cancer research.
Thank you all so much and ee hope to see you again later in the year. A couple of video clips to follow.
Really looking forward to our first outing at the Green Bear in Gorleston High St tonight. Two sets with the first kicking off around 8:30. See you later!
We can’t wait, see you there!
Don’t forget everyone, we are at the Green Bear in Gorleston High Street on the 24th of this month. Two great sets and we’ll be kicking off at about 8:30 with favourites and some newbie’s too.
See you there!
Caister Ladies Christmas Party at Filby Bridge. Our first outing as a four. Odd not having Sadie and Graham alongside us, but we think it works.
The Fedoras first gig since spring time was for the Caister Ladies group Christmas lunch held at the Filby Bridge Restaurant.
We had a great time and we hope you all did too, you were all in very good voice it must be said.
Merry Christmas to everyone and see you in the New Year we hope.
Many thanks also for your generous donation too, we shall pass it on to Cancer Research in memory of our great friend and band member, Graham.
Just to let everyone know, we have now decided that all Fedora gigs in 2024 shall be performed for a Cancer Research donation, not just to July.
So don’t forget that booking us is for an excellent cause as well as for a fun time of singing and dancing.
We’re back!!!
Our first return gig is a Christmas one, full of Christmas spirit with wonderful Caister Ladies group for their Christmas get together. A ciuple more private parties too before Santa arrives.
We have more gigs now lined up for 2024 including our first outing at the Green Bear in Gorleston with a great couple of sets for the singers and dancers amongst you all.
Don’t forget, until June 2024 we are performing for donations to Cancer Research and a couple of beers for the band.
We only have one Saturday night and a Sunday lunch/afternoon slot available in February, two in March but nothing in April. Sorry, but we have weddings and parties all of April.
Our website has been a bit forgotten but is now being worked on again but please email [email protected] or call 07429 162863 with any inquiries.
Hi everyone,
It’s been a few months now since the devastating loss of our great friend and co band member, Graham Dawson.
The last chat I had with him was in his garden on a lovely summers day over cuppa and a piece of Sadie’s cake where he was quite insistent that we carry on or at least give it a go.
So, here we are. We have a couple of Christmas gigs that we’re really looking forward too and we have a couple of early new year gigs too.
We have been practising like crazy to make sure our sets work and stay true to form and I’m glad to say that it sounds and feels really good. But I guess I would say that, wouldn’t I…😉😂
What we have decided as a band is to play our gigs for donations to Cancer Research from our venues or organisers for at least the next 6 months rather than take a fee. (you can also buy us a beer if you’d like too)
We are now actively back on the scene, so if you’d like us to play at your party, event, pub or club, we only want you to make a suitable donation. We hope you understand our reasoning.
We’ll be updating the web site this month which has also been left to its itself for far too long too.
We look forward to playing for all our friends old and new for the rest of this year and beyond…
Best wishes, The Fedoras…

Hi to everyone who knew Graham … and sorry if we haven’t contacted you all ….. and remembering that all memories are unique to each person to cherish,I would like to share this with you all,and if you would like to be there you are very welcome ….colourful clothing would be great … but if you feel happy in black that is fine too … am wishing this day to be full of loving happy memories and a tribute to a man I have shared life with for the past thirteen years ❤️❤️ Sadie

This is our first post a little while and is without doubt the most regretful one I I’ve ever posted here.
Sadly, one of the mainstays of our band, Graham Dawson our silky voiced singer has recently passed away. To say we’re all shocked is a real understatement, we are all devastated.
Not only was Graham a major part of the Fedoras, he was also a great friend to us all.
Having been with him last weekend, I can assure everybody it was Graham’s wish that the Fedoras carry on and that is what we shall be doing.
Now is now not the time to elaborate as now is the time for remembering and celebrating Graham’s life, which we intend to do in the coming days and weeks.
Rest in Peace “G” and get ready for the next gig.
What a great night we had at the Horse and Groom in Rollesby. Packed pub and singalong crowd. We enjoyed it and we hope everyone else did too.
We’ll be back again soon so watch this space for dates..

Caister Ladies Christmas Party at Filby Bridge. Our first outing as a four. Odd not having Sadie and Graham alongside us, but we think it works.
A little snippet of Dreams, our original song written by our own Richard Copland from our quite windy first set at the Wheels Festival in Pleaure Beach Gardens last Sunday. Thanks to Harbour Radio and Great Yarmouth Borough Council for putting on a great event and the wandering audiences along the prom that made it a bit different but great fun..
Now how could we forget to put something up from this one. The Great Yarmouth Food Festival last month which was a great event in itself with some great things going on. Cold but bright and a terrific audience that joined in with some of our favourites. Many thanks to Harbour Radio for inviting us to perform, it was great.
Now we’ve dragged the girls into backing us on a few songs and the B52’s Love-Shack is what we’ve been practicing for a few weeks. It’s the girls first time on stage and out of the box we think a pretty good show. Big news too….We have also just been confirmed as one of the entertainment bands for the Flavours Food Festival in Great Yarmouth on the 27th of March at St. George’s. Stay tuned for timings..
The first performance of Dreams written by our very own Richard. A bit shaky but colds were abound on Wednesday.
Here you go guys, a clip from last night with the Caister Ladies. Great night and we’ve been asked back too! Couldn’t have been that bad then I guess… A couple more to come including the premier of an original song and a debut..
A bit of reserved Christmas fun in the Great Yarmouth Minster church on Sunday..beautiful church by the way..
A cold and wet start to our unexpected invite to perform at the switching on of the Christmas lights after the Minster and St George’s Park. We had a great time and thanks to all who stayed in such dreadful conditions..See you next Saturday in GtY again.
And now for something completely different..🤠 Don’t forget, this coming Sunday we’re on stage at 2:00 pm, St George’s Park in Great Yarmouth at the Christmas Fayre. We’d love to see you there…
