Oh I do miss my pink paradise and my lovely customers 😭 4 years ago we were transforming the unit into a place where magic could be created and we definitely made a lot of flower magic over those 4 years !!

THANK YOU for all the lovely comments and messages since I dropped the news, it's the end!! It has been so heart warming to read all the lovely things people have to say and I thought I would be sad but I'm not, I'm relieved and very proud!
(And how could I not give it up to spend time with Percy when he's this cute)
Seeing people names pop up from weddings over the years...I haven't forgotten one of them and I'm really proud that I kept it that personal that I could do that!!
Someone said to me 6.5 years ago that I needed a business plan and that I wouldn't make it doing wedding flowers.. they couldn't have been more wrong 🖕🤣

And if your out there with a business or thinking of starting a business (wedding industry or not) and you want any advice, have any questions or need a good rant my inbox is always open because if there is anything I have learnt it's that being a business owner can be a very lonely place and kindness is our best life skill

Goodbye 👋 to The Flower Hall forever!!!
I know it will probably come as a shock to so many of you and I actually can't quite believe I'm ending it!

It's been a really tough decision to make after 6.5 years and I'm hanging up my florist scissors after 18 years of being a florist

It's no surprise that the last 12 months has been hard on businesses and the cost of living has definitely effected the way we do things in many ways but I was incredibly luckily to have a very busy and successful 2023 wedding season but truth be told my heart just isn't in it anymore.

They say having a baby changes everything, and it really does...he is my number 1 in every decision I make and he is my priority and I don't want to be a parent that misses out on family time at the weekends due to flowering weddings (which is majority of the time)

Also trying to keep upto date with emails, quotes and admin during non wedding days has become impossible since Percy started to move and I found myself working later and later every night and that's when you start to question is that what you really want 🤔

On top of that a few personal things have been going on behind the scenes also that I'm not ready to go into just yet but this definitely made me make the decision I had been putting off...It's time for me to pause and take a slower pace at life, enjoy Percy while he's small and enjoy all the weekends with my family

I started the business in 2017 after starting a new job that turned out just wasn't for me and it was only a temporary escape, I didn't have a plan or an expectation of where it would go!
I started out on the market and it grew really quick and it was unbelievable, I have done not hundreds but thousands of weddings over those years and I really found myself enjoying everything (even the early mornings and late nights) I sold tens of thousands of plants in lockdown, god knows how many dried flowers, pots and vases...you almost killed me off every Christmas, Valentine's and Mother's day with your amazing loyalty. The shop was launched just before lockdown and you loved it,which gave me a real sense of pride and passion, and although it didn't last forever it's still one of my highlights how much you all loved it! So THANK YOU for everything. I have had a blast!! I'm sure it won't be the last time you will see my face, but for now, it's goodbye while I take a well-deserved rest (early retirement 🙊)

I've been missing offline for quite some time so just thought I would share a little update as the messages are flying in for Christmas orders/wreaths and foliages...I'm not working this December 😮 (shocking I know)

We create lovely bouquets for the people in the heart of West Lancashire and beyond. We use natural brown packaging to accompany our fresh flowers -perfect for all occasions !!! As well as providing flowers 7 days a week we like to get out and about on the markets so you will find us .. - Ormskirk outdoor market every Thursday and Saturday - Inglenook farm market- 2nd Sunday of the month

We also love making wedding flowers and enjoy joining you on your wedding planning journey to make your big day as special as it should be!
