I'm not biased! I honestly don't know why anyone wouldn't book a wedding videographer to capture the very best moments of their day!
Actually, I do get it. There are common fears and worries and I felt them too! From feeling weird about being filmed to debating if you'll even watch it back.
And budget. That's playing a huge factor for couples who didn't prioritise a wedding video in the first juggle of the wedding budget. It can feel like a big expense last minute to tag on at the end.
It is worth every penny but trust me, it's one of those ones you have to trust you'll value more AFTER your wedding and as the years go on!

Choreographed first dance under the stars anyone...?
Now, I'm a massive advocate for a bit of dancefloor action and a choreographed first dance at a wedding is a great way to kick off your evening celebrations!
Myself and my Husband also learnt a routine for our wedding dance over 15 years ago too!
I find it can help you avoid that awkward shuffle and give you something fun to do together for your first dance! It also helps with the nerves going in with a plan, even a simple one!

You ready...? I clearly wasn't as camera shy back in the day!
For those who haven't been on my website in a while as you prefer stalking me here, you'll have missed a new addition to the homepage. A little 'About Me' video!
I've HOURS of footage on tapes I found at my Dad's when he passed away of me talking nonsense to the camera. Even more of me dancing along to Oasis and Spice Girls (anything 90s really haha).
I felt sharing some of this, as CRINGY as it felt stumbling across it, was important!
Because once I got over myself, I started to enjoy the nostalgia of seeing it back. The outfits, the friends and even the songs I used to love. How our garden looked, the toys I used to play with...and how much my kids look like me when I was younger.
And this happens now with our wedding video too! It may've only been 2009 but things have changed, family have passed away and it fills us with so much joy sharing these wedding memories with our children.
I know right now wedding budget is a big thing, as well as being unsure if you'll even watch the wedding video back as you hate seeing/hearing yourself.
But please consider what it'll mean to you in 10/20/50 years time NOT having video memories to look back on.
Not being able to share your partner crying as you walk down the aisle, or your Parent's sharing an emotional toast...or that moment they managed to capture of your Nan laughing with your best friend.
If you could look past your own worries and consider why a wedding video could grow in value for you, it may be what you need to squeeze it into the budget and trust that it'll be the best decision you make :)

Alternative to traditional confetti needed...?
With lots of venues sadly banning wedding confetti outside for numerous reasons lots of couples are looking for a fun alternative.
Let me introduce BUBBLES! But in a cool way, not a kids birthday party way haha.
Like confetti, more is definitely more and it's worth ensuring you have way more than you need to make it look effective like it did here.
As well as guests having individual ones to blow and have fun with, maybe consider bubble guns!
If you go through my feed you'll also spot wedding streamers, they're a really colourful and fun alternative to confetti to consider too!

The best moment to relive..? Well, my couples tell me THIS moment is the one that goes by in a blur and they love being able to see it back!
I remember that thanks to the watery eye situation going on it was literally a blur for me walking down the aisle! I was incredibly grateful I got a couple of angles on my wedding video to relive such a lovely moment from our wedding ceremony!
I'm sharing this section of the wedding ceremony in all it's 'real time' glory for you to enjoy. If you opt to add on your full wedding ceremony, this is how it would look and feel. Professionally edited but as it was on the day, the perfect way to take you right back to how it felt!
